Pedro is finishing his Masters in Finance and works with a real estate business in Brazil. Alexandra is a student at UNLV graduating in May 2014 in Social Work. The couple met in Las Vegas when Pedro came here to play at WSOP. Their mutual friend, Wolbert, introduced them at a restaurant called Naked Fish, which is now their favorite sushi restaurant.
“Every moment on our wedding was very special. When I saw Alexandra walking down the aisle, that gave me very good memories,” recalled Pedro.
“The most memorable moment for me was our first dance and we really loved our flower girl. She was so adorable giving us hugs,” said Alexandra.
“A few details from the wedding that were our favorite were the ceremony room décor, the food, our wedding cake, and the jazz singer from the cocktail hour,” said the couple.
“If I could offer a piece of advice for other couples planning their wedding, it would be to keep it simple and not to stress about the wedding planning and the little details. Those little details won’t matter on your wedding day. They day went by so quickly that I don’t even remember every detail from our day,” explained Alexandra.
“We chose our wedding to be at the Four Seasons Hotel because the environment is beautiful and it is a very private venue,” said the couple.
“Now that the wedding has commenced, we learned that it’s important to reunite family and friends. It wasn’t worth the stress to put so much time and energy into the details and sophistication of the whole wedding when we were planning. Being happy on our wedding day is what was important. Our advice to future couples planning their wedding, discuss everything carefully with your vendors and read all the paperwork. There’s no need to rush when signing contracts,” explained the couple.
“We found Memory Lane Video through doing our online research, also the Four Seasons Hotel recommended them to us. The videos they filmed from previous weddings were awesome. On the day of our event a few things we admired about Memory Lane Video was that someone was constantly filming. They were able to capture every single moment and they also were very friendly. They had fun along with us and that’s what the wedding was all about,” said Pedro and Alexandra.
“We think video is important because it will bring back a lot of memories and it is the best way to remember those special moments forever. It will be great to share this with our kids one day,” explained the couple.
The couple is going to Western Europe for their honeymoon. France, Italy, Portugal and Spain: beautiful countries with delicious food.
