Anthem Country Club – Nicole + Mark – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

Nicole is a Physician Assistant and works with cancer patients at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Mark works in finance at Deutsche Bank. We met through mutual friends at a Jacksonville Jaguars football game. They had their first date a couple weeks later. They went out to dinner and had drinks after at an Irish Bar. They talked and laughed the whole night. It was perfect.

“The most memorable thing about our wedding was definitely how perfect everything was. The venue looked amazing and we were surrounded by our close family and friends who had travelled from 2 countries to share the day with us. Everyone had so much fun! Just looking back and thinking of how great the day was still makes us smile and happy,” the couple recalled.

“Our 3 favorite details from the wedding were 1, Todd from Bently and Wilson photography. He did such a wonderful job on our wedding photos. From the moment he walked into the room until the end of the night, he never stopped snapping pictures. He made us feel so comfortable all night, and the final pictures all came out perfect. 2, the venue. Anthem Country Club is just beautiful. The ceremony on the lawn was beautiful and the weather was perfect. The view of the downtown strip at night was amazing. Probably the best part were the fireworks during our first dance. And 3, Darth Vader. Mark is a huge Star Wars fan, so he was surprised by having some Star Wars characters at the wedding. The Neon City Garrison of the 501st Legion is a non-profit organization that will make appearances in return for a donation to charity on their behalf. The Neon City Garrison’s charity is the Make a Wish foundation. It was something fun for us and our guests while also supporting a good cause,” Nicole and Mark explained.

“Our advice to other couples planning their wedding would be to enjoy it all while you can. It might seem like a lot of work and very stressful, but when the day finally comes around it will all be worth it.  Try to remember that it’s a journey leading up to one of the best days of your life. Also plan a budget! Then double it and you should be about right,” said the couple.

“The key factor for us choosing the wedding and reception at Anthem Golf and Country Club was how beautiful it was! We wanted an outdoor wedding away from the strip but with views of it. Everything from the ceremony area on the lawn to the outdoor balcony area for the cocktail hour and floor to ceiling windows in the reception room with panoramic views of the strip was perfect.  Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue was,” Nicole and Mark recalled.

“We were extremely happy with Todd from Bently and Wilson Photography.  He listened to everything we wanted and was so laid back that he made everyone feel comfortable right away. We got our photos a few weeks later and they all turned out beautiful. We have so many favorites it’s impossible to pick just one. We also loved Pastor Pete. He made our ceremony very personalized and sincere, but also kept it light and entertaining for our guests. The ceremony was perfect for us and we can’t thank Pastor Pete enough.” said the couple.

“We heard about MemoryLane Video from Wedding Wire. We looked at quite a few videographers, but Memory Lane Video by far had the best reviews. We couldn’t have made a better choice,” Nicole and Mark recalled.

“Looking back now that the wedding is over, we learned that all of our stressing and worrying was for nothing. Things did not go perfectly (flower vases broke, things were left out or forgotten), however the day was beyond perfect. The day comes and goes so fast, it’s important to soak as much in while you can. The most important thing to us was having all of our close friends and family all in one place to share our special day with us,” said the couple.

“Our advice to future couples planning their wedding is to not sweat the small stuff. Once the day comes all your hard work will pay off. Just remember that the day is about the two of you and your love for each other, and make the wedding reflect that as much as possible. Start planning early and make a budget,” Nicole and Mark explained.

“We booked Memory Lane Video 2 weeks before the actual wedding. After speaking with some family and friends who hadn’t used a videographer, they said that was a regret for them after. We wanted to capture the day and be able to watch it back later in our lives. We are both so happy we decided to book with Memory Lane Video and are even more impressed that they was so willing to work with us on such a short notice. We chose Memory Lane Video because we were most impressed with the quality of work we saw online all the wonderful reviews they had. We remember the first time we saw a Memory Lanevideo, we said we have to have them. We loved the attention to detail while also the great story that the videos told. From the first phone call, to meeting in Vegas before the wedding and to now, Ricky, John and Nikki have been incredibly informative and responsive.” recalled that couple.

“On the day of the event, we most admired how professional and organized the Memory Lane Video staff was throughout the day. The camera crew all worked together with a plan and they were in constant communication with each other to get all the shots needed. You could just tell how dedicated they were and how passionate they are about what they do. All the crew members were also so friendly and really tried to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We can’t wait to see the aerial footage from the helicopter at the ceremony! Everyone was talking about it,” said Nicole and Mark.

“We love all our photographs from our wedding, but photos won’t let you listen to your own voice reciting your vows. They won’t let you hear that great speech from your best man. And they can’t replay for you those priceless dance moves from your maid of honor. It’s next to impossible to remember all of the little details, and even some of the big ones that happened that day. We wanted not only to capture our memories, we wanted to be able to experience them with again with everyone, and that’s why we chose videography and decided to book with Memory Lane Video,” the couple explained.

“Due to having 10 days off for our destination wedding in Las Vegas we decided to do our honeymoon later in the year. We will be flying to England for a long weekend where we will have a reception with Marks family who weren’t able to attend the wedding in the US. Then we are going to Greece for 10 days. We wanted to honeymoon in a place with history and culture, but also wanted a relaxing beach vacation. Athens and the Greek islands were the perfect combination for us,” said Nicole.
