Emerald at QueensRidge – Sarah + Patrick – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

Sarah and Patrick both work for Social Security as claims representatives.

They met at work, Patrick started there before Sarah. Patrick was that really nice, funny guy at work that helped everyone. They started going to yoga together as friends. It was adorable how inflexible Patrick was. They began hanging-out after yoga and little by little they started hanging out outside of yoga, eating, watching movies, going to the gym together. Each time they spent time together, they spent more and more time together, 30 more minutes, 1 hour more, until every time they went out was a 6 -7 hour friend date and they were both bleary-eyed, but they would keep talking to spend more time together.

It all seemed like it went in a flash, but seeing everyone, though brief, it was wonderful. It seemed like everyone was so happy, so that made us really happy,” recalled Sarah and Patrick.

“The 3 details from my wedding that were my favorite were, 1, seeing each other for the first time walking down the aisle. Patrick looked so handsome and he said he loved seeing my smile. 2, seeing the venue put together the first time, all the vendors did an amazing job. The cake by Leopold’s Bakery Rolling In Dough was beyond what we thought it would be. 3, we both loved getting our caricature done by Vic Rinaldo, he was so nice and he’s so talented,” Sarah explained.

“If we could offer one piece of advice for other couples planning their wedding, it would be to start the planning early. That will make it easier to get what you want and not have to worry about it,” said the couple.

Emerald at QueensRidge was absolutely wonderful. Their packages are incredible compared to a lot of venues we checked out. It was so easy to feel comfortable that those things they were handling were going to be taken care of.  Jessica Lopez was an absolute joy to deal with during the planning process, especially because we live out of state and since we hadn’t thought of all the things that needed to get done! She made us feel like we were making great decisions and when the day came, we really loved everything,” Sarah and Patrick explained.

Our vendors were amazing! Venue/Catering: Emerald At Queensridge; Cake: Leopold’s Bakery Rolling In Dough; Photography: Cashman Brothers; DJ: High Class Studios; Caricaturist: Victor Rinaldo; Tuxes: Men’s Warehouse; Bride’s dress: Terry Costa Bridal Boutique in Dallas, TX; Bride’s maids Dresses: Alfred Angelo,”said the couple.

I saw Memory Lane Video at a Bridal Extravaganza, but didn’t even bother to stop because I thought, wow that’s too fancy for us, we probably can’t afford it. Our coordinator at Emerald At Queensridge, said we should check them out and one of the coordinators even said she was using them for her own wedding. I saw their videos and thought, wow those are really impressive, maybe I can just check to see what packages they do offer,” Sarah recalled.

“Now that the wedding has commenced, we learned it all goes by so fast, all the late nights making stuff, stress worried how it was going to turn out, during the day of we didn’t really think of all that. We were just happy everyone told us they had a good time. Definitely set a budget and try to stick to it as much as you can. Try to plan things together, my husband chose the cake and helped pick out colors, he was great and I’m lucky to have a guy that did care. Ask for help when you need it. If you’re not sure on something you’ve chosen, ask your vendors a question; or if you need help bagging candy, there’s someone who’s not involved with the wedding party who will help. Everyone wants to see you happy as well,” explained the couple.

“Weddings can be stressful. Try to listen to each other and be realistic. Sometimes wedding envy can get the best of everyone. You will get through it and you’ll be a little sad when it’s over,”Sarah and Patrick said.

We’ve never seen wedding videos like Memory Lane’s. You guys are amazing.  You really seemed to capture a couple’s personality and take their cherished memories and give them something they will want to show everyone. It was so impressive to learn about all the detail that was put to each video. We asked John a million questions during our first meet up and Ricky and staff were so great about answering any questions we had later on.  We wish we could’ve gotten all the extras, but again, we had to budget. We’re so happy we were able to budget for the package. Memory Lane Video really helped us choose what was right for us. Their staff were professional and wonderful to deal with.  We really can’t wait to see the final product,” explained the couple.

“On the day of the event, Memory Lane Video got so many shots. They were so very nice and professional. I forgot they were filming several times as I was getting ready because they were so good at not being intrusive on the day. I thought I was going to be a lot more nervous having people in the bridal suite taking video when we got ready but it really wasn’t bad,” Sarah recalled.

“We had been warned by everyone to get video of the wedding because you won’t remember everything and it will be such a blur. They were so right! It felt like it happened in the blink of an eye. We weren’t able to spend all the time we wanted with our guests so it’ll be wonderful to see how they got to spend the time there.  People should consider Memory Lane Video’s services because there is not a lot of videographer’s like them who capture the wedding like a movie. We love movies and so having something different from the norm was very important to us,” explained the couple.

Where are the Mickey’s honeymooning? Disney World of course! It’s the happiest place on earth! They also have a trip later on to Hawaii for Mrs. Mickey planned because she might need a little bit of a vacation after all the walking.
