Hilton Lake Las Vegas – Veron + Daniel – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

Dan is an attorney who specializes in Personal Injury, Insurance law and Medical Malpractice cases. Veron is an Assistant Mortgage Consultant/Branch Coordinator for a Mortgage Company and also a classically trained Chef.

Let’s see how Dan and Veron met. “We met at Mundo Restaurant, Downtown Las Vegas.  I was out with some friends for a couple of after work drinks and Veron was just getting off from a culinary event at The World market next door. It was a busy night, Veron came up to the bar to order herself a glass of Sangria. After introducing myself and impressing her with wit, charm and encyclopedic knowledge of all things involving alcohol, she went back to her table leaving me empty handed! She intrigued me a lot. Veron is very charming and she carried herself very well. She has a lot of depth and I knew right after talking to her I wanted to get to know her. Little did I know that the best way to her heart was through food and wine so I was off to a good start. I took the risk of picking up her tab, she came up to thank me and then I asked for her number. The rest is history.” explained the couple.

From Dan’s perspective, their first date “was amazing.  We had agreed to meet at the same restaurant where we first met. I arrived a few minutes early, and, as I was waiting at the bar, the most beautiful girl I had ever seen approached. Veron took my breath away, and I knew right at that moment that this was the girl I wanted to marry.” Once Vernon’s approach was done, Dan explains “After I (sort of) composed myself, we had a wonderful two hour conversation over sangria. We discussed a wide variety of topics, ranging from our childhood memories to our thoughts on Pope John Paul II. I remember driving home and praying to God I would see her again.” Looks like God answered Dan’s prayers!

Veron seemed to think their first date was quite unique, actually!  “For starters, it was unique from any other dates I’ve ever been in! As I walked up to him and said hi, he looked away and for a split second did not recognize me! Somehow he managed to redeem himself by the end of the night. We had numerous long phone conversations prior to our first date and it just seemed like I’ve known him for quite a while. I felt comfortable around him right away which I found very odd as I’m normally skeptic on first dates. The connection was definitely there and I knew I wanted to see him again.” said Veron.

The most memorable thing from Dan’s wedding day was “seeing my beautiful wife walking down the aisle.” Whereas Veron’s was, “our first dance as a married couple. It was nerve wracking and so special at the same time.”

Dan’s most admirable details from his wedding day were the “Polished dishes to the tempting deserts served during the rehearsal dinner, breakfast banquets and the reception dinner by the amazing Food & Beverage Department of the Hilton.” On the other hand, Veron’s were the “UNLV Students playing the strings as I walked down the aisle, the bridal party introduction dance, listening to toasts, and the drone above me while I was walking down the steps.” Veron even included that she “felt like Kim Kardashian for a split sec! lol”.

The couple advises to “definitely plan ahead and enjoy the process”.

Being a Las Vegas resident ultimately helped the couple choose their venue for their wedding reception. The couple says “Living in Las Vegas, we wanted a venue that is away from the strip. Walking into the pavilion was just love at first sight! It was beautiful during the day and even more gorgeous at night. The breathtaking view of the lake and the Ponte Vecchio Bridge on the background just gives a very romantic feel to it that was just very hard to resist. We also loved the fact that it had a little gazebo and garden outside that was perfect for the cocktail hour.”

The married couple was very content with the vendors they booked. The couple explained “DJ Mathis (Rumple Skilton Events) was absolutely amazing! He played all our favorite music, did a fantastic job hosting and getting the party going. MJ (IFlickPhotobooth) was definitely very creative and fun! She provided great props and the quality of the photos we came out good which were a perfect keepsake for our guests. Brianna (Rouge Hair & Make Up) did a fabulous job in doing all our hair and makeup. She was a darling! Our pictures came out great!

Dan and Veron heard about Memory Lane Video through “Bridal Spectacular Show and FB”.

Now that the wedding was commenced, the couple learned that “Communication is key with dealing with both the bridal party and vendors. It is very important to do your own research on everything before making any final decision. Most importantly, come in knowing no matter how much planning you put into there will be little details that go out of place and it is ok! Enjoy moment, savor the wine, eat your cake and dance the night away! It is those opps moments that made it all the more special.”

The married lovers also advised future couples planning their wedding, that “During the planning stage, don’t let yourselves get overwhelmed with all the little details that goes into it. Most importantly, don’t worry about the other people’s expectations; Focus on what you both want and enjoy every minute of the entire process. It’s a great feeling seeing it come together and being in a room full of people you love celebrating with you. You guys will miss it when it is over!”

Making their final decision, the couple included that “RICKY is what made us book your services! Lol Definitely a great representation of your company. It was actually a last minute decision of us to hire a videographer. He took the time to explain what all goes into it and how it will be so much fun to watch it years from now. I’m glad we listened and can’t wait to watch it.”

What the couple most admired about Memory LaneVideo, was the “professionalism and attention to detail… Your crew was absolutely amazing! I loved the fact that they had the balance of being polite with other vendors and getting the job done. They were all also very considerate to our bridal party and fun too! You guys definitely live up to your reputation. “Thank you Dan and Veron!

The necessity of video is very important, well at least to Dan and Veron it was. The couple added that “Video is necessary to capture memories in a way photos simply can’t; you can’t “watch” photos with your kids/grandkids decades from now. It allows you to re-live the most important day of your life! Plus, it is an ultimate proof of how hot their mom was back in the day.” Great point Dan and funny stuff!

Discussing their honeymoon, Dan and Veron said “we took a short cruise to Mexico after the wedding as our quick mini getaway. We are looking into availing our free air & accommodation wedding trip to Hawaii sometime in March. We hope to go on our full honeymoon mid of this year to somewhere tropical and that includes a lot of booze! Lol” Best of luck Dan and Veron, we wish you a life full of happiness and success!
