Treasure Island Hotel – Mehernaz + Farhood – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers
The couple met through Mehernaz’s sister and she introduced them through Facebook. Since Farhood lived in Vegas and Mehernaz lived in Vancouver, it was hard for them to make the time to meet in person. In September of 2008, Mehernaz messaged Farhood and told him that she will be heading to Vegas to visit her cousin. Farhood got excited and told Mehernaz that he would be picking her up from the airport. Upon landing, Farhood gave Mehernaz roses and took her to dinner and they both loved sushi and then took her to see the show Love on the Strip. They had a wonderful first date and to this day they remember it so clearly.
Mehernaz’s most memorable moment was when she got to hold Farhood’s hand for the first time while he was standing behind the door.
“I was very excited and emotional, just wanted to hug him,” said Mehernaz.
Farhood’s most memorable moment was when they were walking down the aisle for their ceremony and everyone was standing up, cheering for them and their love.
“I felt really blessed to have so many family and friends that made the time to celebrate our love with us,” said Farhood.
“The 3 details from our wedding that were our favorite were our flower arrangements, our wedding cake and our wedding sweetheart table setup and backdrop,” the couple recalled.
“A piece of advice we could offer other couples planning their wedding would be not to rush when making a decision. Make a decision when it feels right and believe in each other. It is your wedding so listen to each other. If need you assistance ask for advice, however, both the bride and groom need to make the decisions together.” said Mehernaz and Farhood.
“Both of us just fell in love with the venue, Treasure Island. We wanted a location on the Las Vegas Strip that would let us bring our traditional Persian food,” explained the couple.
“Mehernaz had watched a few wedding highlight reels from Memory Lane Video few months before we got engaged and fell in love with their work. Once we got engaged she knew she would go with them for sure. When we met with Memory Lane Video it all fell into place and it just felt right. The team was very welcoming and made us feel relaxed,” recalled Farhood.
“We learned that at the end of the day it’s being together that matters the most and having a wedding that all our love ones attended made us feel blessed. We found our wedding to be stressful because we didn’t have a wedding planner and wish we would have hired one. Looking back we wished we didn’t stress about a lot of things because when you are in the moment you cannot not stress about little things,” explained the couple.
