Jeff is a RPA Mechanical Field Engineer Military contractor and Yolee is a freelance Graphic Designer and a server at STACK Restaurant at the Mirage.
“Jeff and I actually met online. I saw his picture and sent him a crush! He was overseas and I was here in Vegas. We emailed and talked on the phone for 3 months. Our first date was our first time meeting face to face. It was an amazing surprise when he just showed up at my apartment,” Yolee recalled.
“The most memorable thing about our wedding was definitely how beautiful everything was. From the ceremony, to the amazing decor in the reception space, to our fabulous 5 tier cake. Everything came out more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. One moment from our wedding we can’t stop thinking and talking about was when Jeff took off my Garter belt. That was the most creative way I think anyone in attendance had ever seen,” said Yolee.
“Our three favorite details about our wedding were, 1, the ceremony. The moment we looked at each other for the first time it was like the world stopped and it was just us. It was such a surreal moment full of smiles, love, happiness and friends and family. I don’t think we’ve ever smiled that big in our lives! 2, our grand entrance, it was so amazing to feel all the love and excitement from our family and friends and 3, the whole day became the favorite day in our lives,” explained the couple.
“If we could offer one piece of advice to other couples planning their wedding, it would be to have a clear vision of what you’d like your special day to look like. I actually designed our entire wedding and was very meticulous on my exact vision from start to finish. Make sure both of you are involved in all the decision making, but at the end of the day remember not to stress about the little things and just enjoy the day because it goes by in a blur,” said Yolee.
“The key factor for us choosing our reception space at Bear’s Best was definitely how beautiful it was! We knew we wanted an outdoor space and when we visited the venue for the first time we knew it would be the perfect place. The staff at Bear’s Best was incredible, Ed Ramos and Gordon Parker made it so easy and stress free. We couldn’t have imagined doing our magical day anywhere else,” Yolee and Jeff recalled.
“The first place I saw Memory Lane Video was at a bridal show. I stood there and watched a few samples and knew at that moment that they were the perfect fit for our wedding,” said Yolee.
“Now that the wedding has commenced, what we’ve learned is that even after all the planning, organizing and crafting the day really does go by in the blink of an eye. There’s absolutely nothing we would re-do, well except keeping the party going longer,” the couple said.
“The advice we could provide to future couples on planning their weddings would be to do your research. Find things to include in your wedding that are a reflection of both of you. On the day of your wedding, take it all in and truly enjoy your special day, because for that day nothing else matters but your happiness,” explained Yolee and Jeff.
