Mandarin Oriental Hotel – Elizabeth + Brandt – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

Brandt is the director of salary cap and football operation analytics for the Kansas City Chiefs. Elizabeth is a communications consultant to foundations and non-profits and is also an educator at Lululemon.

Brandt is the younger brother of one of Elizabeth’s cabin-mates from summer camp. They reconnected when his sister got married two summers ago and Elizabeth was a bridesmaid. They walked each other down the aisle at that wedding too!

“Standing underneath the chuppah with our parents was very special to us. We knew we were surrounded by all of our family and friends and that was the most important thing for us on our wedding day,” recalled Elizabeth and Brandt.

“Our 3 favorite details from the wedding were, exchanging our wedding rings, being introduced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Brandt Tilis and when the confetti canons went off to Pitbull’s song Timber,” the couple said.

“Our advice to couples planning their wedding would be to have fun planning and remember that the wedding is about committing your life to each other and the wedding itself should be a reflection of that. The details are important, but remember the wedding is just the beginning, that your real life and fun happen after everyone goes home,” explained Elizabeth and Brandt.

“We knew we wanted to get married in Las Vegas in a hotel with a good location, but one that wasn’t too crowded. Elizabeth didn’t want to be a bride in a smokey casino. The Mandarin Oriental perfect because there was no casino. It was very classy and they were easy to work with. It was the perfect combination of all the good things about Vegas, and none of the bad,” Brandt said.

“We were happy we chose Tory Cooper to be part of our special day. We couldn’t have done it without her as our wedding planner. She was great from the first time we met her. We loved all of our vendors, and have to give a special shout out to our fabulous photographers, AltF. We don’t have enough positive things to say about Dalisa and John Michael Cooper,”explained the couple.

“We found out about Memory Lane Video from our wedding planner Tory Cooper, who we trusted in all things in Las Vegas! We absolutely couldn’t have planned a remote wedding without her,” Elizabeth and Brandt said.

“Now that the wedding has commenced, the most important thing was that we were surrounded by family and friends. Everything else was just icing on the cake, and our cake was delicious too! We weren’t too stressed about much planning the wedding. Maybe over whether people would cancel at the last minute and we’d have to redo the tables, but it all worked out,” explained the couple.

“Seeing the quality of Memory Lane Video’s work made us want to book their services. On the day of our wedding, what we admired most was how seamlessly they were able to complete their jobs. We barely even noticed they were there, though of course we are thankful that they were,” Elizabeth and Brandt said.

“The wedding and reception go by so fast and having video is a great way to relive all the moments that you may have missed. Your wedding is a moment you’ll only get once. You want to be able to have it for your kids, grand kids and the rest of your family,” explained the couple.

Elizabeth and Brandt honeymooned in Bora Bora. They wanted to go somewhere relaxing and figured a trip to the French Polynesia was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
