We couple met at work and sat next to each other at the Geico Corporate office in NY.
“The most memorable part of the wedding was the first look. It was a mix of emotions waiting to see her walk down those stairs towards me,” said John.
“For me, reciting our vows to one another was such a beautiful feeling,” said Jahana.
“Our three of our favorite details from our wedding was the ceremony space. It was magical. The marquee letters on the dance floor and all of the details at the reception that told our love story,” the couple recalled.
“Our biggest piece of advice would be to be selfish, its your wedding day,” said Jahana and John.
“We chose Red Rock Country Club because it fit the vision we wanted. A beautiful outdoor space that would look amazing at night and was away from the strip,” the couple explained.
“Jahana researched every single vendor for the wedding and Memory Lane Video was the best of the best in Las Vegas. I think she chose the venue and video before we were engaged,” said John
“Now that the wedding has commenced, we learned that in the end you have to do as much research as you can on each vendor. You have to stick to your vision and stick to your plan as much as possible. Location, location location. Location is by far the most important aspect. Once you have that you can start to plan around it. The stress isn’t worth the stress. If something becomes too stressful, put it aside and do not let it take over. There is a solution to every problem and most of them have a way of working themselves out,” the couple explained.
“Our advice to couples planning their wedding is to research all of your options and stick to your vision, don’t let the wedding “stuff” get in the way of having fun being engaged. Also don’t stop your life because you are planning the wedding, go on trips have date nights and have fun with one another,” said Jahana and John.
“We wanted to book with Memory Lane Video because we knew they were the best and we wouldn’t be satisfied with anyone else. We wanted the creativity and energy that they are known for. On the day of our wedding, our videographers were awesome. We loved their personality and we never felt like we were being recorded. They were not obtrusive but still managed to be apart of the most intimate moments,” explained the couple.
“I think that video tells story that you can’t get from looking at pictures. Hearing the excitement in someone’s voice or seeing emotion play upon their face brings you back to that day that no other way can. The only videographers I would recommend is Memory Lane Video. “We did not go on our honeymoon immediately after the wedding but we will be taking a trip on our one year anniversary to Dubai and the Maldives. We chose this location because Dubai is the world leader in everything luxury and the Maldives is extremely beautiful, between both trips we will have a wonderful sightseeing adventure paired with an exotic beach escape,” Jahana and John said.
