Revere Golf Club – Leslie + Jorge – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

Jorge is a car salesman at Prestige Chrysler Jeep & Dodge and Leslie works as a Nurse Assistant for Infinity Hospice Care currently working on getting her nursing degree.

They met through a mutual friend in high school in 2006 toward the end of the school year. Before they officially met, Jorge and Leslie would see each other almost every day after school and only make eye contact and smile. Jorge was too shy to talk to Leslie. Their first date wasn’t until later that year when Jorge called Leslie asking her to go out with him to get some ice cream at Cold Stone. He picked her up and they went to Cold Stone. Before they ordered their ice cream he mentioned to Leslie that it was his 18th birthday that day. With that being said, Leslie had the whole staff at Cold Stone sing happy birthday to him. It was the funniest thing because he got so embarrassed. After that, Jorge took Leslie to the park for a walk. And before he dropped her off at home, they shared their first kiss.

“The most memorable thing we can remember from our wedding day is definitely our first dance together as husband and wife.  Looking into each other’s eyes knowing that we finally got married after being together for so long all while being surrounded by the people we love the most was just the best feeling ever,” recalled the couple.

“Our three favorite details from the wedding were: 1, the venue; we absolutely loved how beautiful Revere Golf Club looked in the evening and the view was just amazing. 2, the photo booth we had fromShutterbooth; seeing all the pictures in our scrapbook that our friends and family took was special because we know they enjoyed it. And 3, the decor; which included our breathtaking ice sculpture that our Maid of Honor gifted to us,” said Leslie and Jorge.

“If we could offer one piece of advice to other couples planning their wedding it would be to start as soon as possible after getting engaged because you don’t want to be running around the week before your wedding with your unfinished TO-DO list. TRUST us,” said the couple.

“The key factors that helped us choose the venue for our wedding reception were the location, the stunning view overlooking the strip and the all-inclusive package that was offered to us at the time. On the day of the wedding, we could not have been more pleased with the service provided,” Leslie and Jorge recalled.

“Apart from Memory Lane Video, we were pleased we chose Shutterbooth for our photo booth and also Enchanted Florist for our gorgeous centerpieces and flower arrangements,” said the couple.

“I found out about Memory Lane Video at a bridal convention my Maid of Honor and I attended. I remember stopping to watch one of their short videos and just fell in love with the way they captured such a memorable event. I knew from that moment on that I wanted them to film our wedding. The only problem was that I had to convince Jorge to want it too, which wasn’t that hard after he also saw one of their videos,” Leslie explained.

“Now that the wedding has commenced, we have learned that all the time, effort and stress we put in the planning process was worth it at the end. There were many stressful moments in which we both just wanted to elope but we knew we wanted a beautiful wedding and we must say that it was worth the stress and the late night phone calls to each other regarding little details. The things that were most important to us and knew we had to splurge on were definitely having the best pictures to remember our special day and of course having the best video because it’s all we were going to be left with after our wedding. Pictures and an amazing video to remind us of how beautiful it all went were most important to us. Things that were not worth the stress was the worry we had about the weather considering we had an outdoor ceremony. It wasn’t something we had control over and we knew at the end of the day we were going to be married no matter what and that’s all that mattered to us,” said the couple.

“Some advice that we could provide to future couples planning their wedding would be to handle one thing at a time. Don’t try to do everything at once and be realistic because not everything you plan will go as planned. No wedding is perfect but none of this should matter because as long as you have your closest friends and family there celebrating with you having an amazing time, that’s what makes a wedding unforgettable. We would also say to enjoy every minute of that day because it goes by so quickly next thing you know you’re riding away in a limo waving goodbye to everyone after the reception is over,” Leslie and Jorge explained.

“On the day of the event, we most admired how professional and friendly the videographers from Memory Lane Video were throughout the day. They are so talented that we almost forgot they were there because they weren’t getting in the way of the event. We think it’s very necessary to have a professional, experienced videographer film your wedding because it’s one of the few things you’ll have to remember the best day of your life and to be able to share with others and maybe one day show your kids. With that being said, the Memory Lane Video staff has that special ability to capture such an important event. They’re professionals and they know what they’re doing which is why we weren’t worried about them on the day of our wedding,” the couple recalled.

“We decided to have our honeymoon in Jamaica at Sandals Whitehouse. We knew it was the perfect location after seeing all the gorgeous pictures and reviews about the place. We spent a beautiful week there and definitely plan to return in the near future,” said Leslie and Jorge.
