The Grove – Dani + Aaron – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

For a living, Dani works as a Health Care Aide for Alberta Health Services and Aaron manages the Upstream Chemicals division for a major Oilfield Services company in Whitecourt.

“Dani and I met online through Match.com. Certain events in our lives lead us to try something different to find that certain someone. Our first date was at a small sports bar in Wetaskiwin, where Dani lived at the time. We both knew right away that this could be something very special.” explained the couple.

“The most memorable moment from the wedding day for me was getting to see Dani for the first time in her dress and trying not to have a complete breakdown because of how beautiful she looked.” remarked Aaron. On the other hand, Dani explained that “Before the wedding while the girls and I were upstairs at the hotel getting our makeup and hair done, Aaron sent a text which said “I love you beautiful and I can’t wait to see you.” It caused me to break out in tears and have to retouch all of my make up. That would have to be my most memorable memory.”

“Our favorite details of the wedding were the beautiful, tasty cake that Dani got to smash in my face, the beautiful speeches from all of our guests, and how well everything was able to come together considering everything was done sight unseen from Canada.” said Aaron.

The advice that the couple had to share with us was “If we could offer one piece of advice for other couples planning their wedding, it would be don’t get wrapped up in the little things that can create all the stress. Once you are in the moment none of that matters and it is all about you”

“We chose The Grove as our wedding ceremony/reception location because of the beautiful grounds and the ability to do the reception and ceremony in the same location and had the onsite wedding planner to assist us with the cake, dj, and florist. It also got us away from the bright lights and noise of the strip.” reamarked the couple about their beautiful venue.

“Apart from Memory Lane, we were happy that we chose Marissa Lindsay Photography – the pictures are beautiful, Presidential Limousines for taking care of all of our transportation needs all week, and Perfect Hair and Makeup for making the girls look so beautiful on our special day.” said Dani.

The couple later concluded that “We heard about Memory Lane Video through The Grove webiste. We then started watching the videos on the mlvnv.com website and they were amazing. We had to have them be a part of our day to be able to document the events for those who could not be part of our day.”

“Looking back now, the day could not have gone any better. Any of the stress which occured leading up to the day was washed away as soon as the event began.” reported the couple.

“If we could provide some advice to future couples planning a destination wedding would be to actual visit and see the location and other vendors prior to booking certain vendors. Using email to communicate lead to several challenges and stresses. So if you have the ability to travel to the location prior to the event, Do It!” advised Dani.

What the couple liked most about Memory Lane Video, was the ” fact that you barely knew they were there.”
Dani and Aaron also added that “video was important to us because we had several important parts of our family that could not be present for the event and the video will allow us to share with them all the key moments of our special day.”
Last but not least, Aaron concluded that “Dani and I will be spending our honeymoon in a private villa in St. Maartens. We wanted to get away from the typical all inclusive locations and find our own path. We will have more privacy and a beautiful view as we are right on the ocean.” Have fun Dani and Aaron!
