TPC Summerlin – Lisa + Brad – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

Brad is an A-10 Avionics Systems Technician in the Air Force and Lisa a nurse in the aesthetics field and works for Ideal Image.

The couple met at a bar/club here in Las Vegas called King Ink. Brad was there with some friends and Lisa was there to meet up with one of their mutual friends. They spent the night talking and dancing and went out to breakfast after together with their friend.  Later that week they met for our first date at Starbucks early in the morning after Brad got off work from his night shift.  They talked about where they came from and where they wanted to go in their lives and talked every day since then.

“The most memorable thing from our wedding would have to be Mandy’s (one of the bridesmaids) speech/rap. She and her husband planned out the rap in just a few hours’ time. It was by far one of the funniest things we’ve ever seen and we will never forget it,” recalled Lisa and Brad.

“Our favorite details from our wedding would be, Keri Macanas and the staff at TPC Summerlin. They are absolute pros and were so helpful and sweet. They made sure everything ran flawlessly.  The food was also amazing and was by far the best wedding food we’ve ever had! We absolutely loved the beautiful flower arrangements and bouquet by Enchanted Florists. They did such a great job turning our ideas into reality,” the couple said.

“Some of the key factors that helped us choose TPC Summerlin were the location/scenery and cost. The TPC Summerlin golf course is a beautiful location for a wedding because it shields out the Las Vegas city landscape. Since we are locals we didn’t want the typical Vegas wedding.  Also, TPC isn’t a cookie cutter kind of venue. It gave us a lot of flexibility when it came to the planning and cost. Keri also made us feel like she really cared about our event, instead of some of the other places we looked at where we were just another wedding to get through,” explained Lisa and Brad.

“We had some of the best vendors in this town! Exceed Photography did such an amazing job with all of our needs in terms of photos. Our family and friends can’t stop saying how great our photos turned out. Our cake from Las Vegas Custom Cakes was absolutely gorgeous and yummy  and  it turned out better than we could have imagined. Our DJ from Knight Sounds Entertainment kept the energy going all night. Also, Hadia Frelke, from the Kelly Cardenas Salon did a flawless job on mine and my mom’s make-up,” Lisa recalled.

“Now that the wedding is over what we learned is to cherish every moment you have with your family, friends, and loved ones, and that it is important to take time to just enjoy each other.  The most important thing about our wedding was everyone being together. Some of our families and friends hadn’t seen each other in a while so it was great to just have everyone together and for our two families to get to know each other better. Two weeks after our wedding one of our Groomsman, Mike Lynch, passed away in a tragic accident. That was the last time we saw him and we are so thankful we got to spend that special time with him and his wife Holley. Looking back all the little material details that go into a wedding really aren’t worth stressing over. The only thing you will remember in the long run is the time you spent with your loved ones and the memories you made with them. And that is always more important than what color your tablecloths are,” explained the couple.

“Advice we would give to future couples on planning their weddings would be to not get too caught up in the planning and the stress of the day that you forget to enjoy it. It should be a fun time in your life and in reality your wedding day is just a day to celebrate with your family and friends,” Lisa and Brad said.

“We found out about Memory Lane Video from the bridal expos we attended. We booked with them because we really wanted a wedding video that would be a keep sake that we could show to our children and grandchildren someday. Something special we could watch and re-live that time in our lives. Memory Lane Video sets themselves apart in that they turn their videos into a work of art, like a mini movie that really tells the story from that day and captures all the emotions and special moments,” explained the couple.

“What we most admired about Memory Lane Video on the wedding day was how much the guys looked like they were enjoying themselves. You can really tell they love what they do,” Lisa and Brad recalled.

“We think video is a definite necessity because it really is a true documentation of the event. When you are so busy running around during the wedding you miss out on little things that happen and it is really nice to be able to go back and see those moments.  Memory Lane Video is perfect for couples who want to beautifully capture that moment in time forever,” said the couple.

Lisa and Brad honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica at Couples Swept Away, an all-inclusive resort. They chose this location because they wanted to go somewhere tropical where everything would be taken care of ahead of time so they could just relax, have fun and enjoy that moment of their lives.
