Ruby is a registered nurse and Luis is an assistant server at T-bones steak house at Red Rock Casino. They met at Rain Night Club at the Palms Hotel. Ruby was with her friends from Arizona, and that was her second time going to a club. She just moved from Arizona a month before she met Luis. That night, Luis was kept starring at Ruby, then finally approached her after an hour, gave her his card, asked her to go out a few weeks later, then they started dating.
“The most memorable part of our wedding was when I was walking in the aisle and seeing Luis smiling at the altar, waiting for me. I saw the glow in his eyes and his excitement,” Ruby recalled.
“The 3 details from our wedding that were our favorite were, 1, the vows. Telling each other how we really wanted to be together forever. 2, the rings. Where we felt that this is it. He’s mine and she’s mine. 3, the grand entrance. We were excited to see the special people in our life, the people who have always been with us and part of our love story, and now, celebrating with us, to witness our magic love,” said the couple.’
“If we could offer a piece of advice to couples planing their wedding, it would be, plan it the way you want it. No matter how hard it is. Make sure that both of you are involved in every detail of the wedding. It’s also exciting to do it yourself because we did every single thing on the guests tables, even their names. We were really happy when we saw the beautiful result,” explained Ruby and Luis.
“We really wanted a golf course for our reception because of the beautiful view outside, but one of the key factor that we decided to go to TPC Summerlin was the coordinator, Keri Macanas. From the very beginning, she was really nice, open minded and easy to talk to. That’s why we planned our wedding easily and the way we wanted. We were both really happy,” recalled the couple.
“We found Memory Lane Video from a wedding expo. We attended 4 or 5 wedding expos before our wedding day, and Memory Lane was always our first choice, and it didn’t change,” said Ruby and Luis.
“Now that the wedding has commenced, we learned as a couple, it’s important that you work on every detail of your wedding. You need to make decisions together because in the end, both of you will be happy. It is also important that you know your guests. Everybody will enjoy and be satisfied,” the couple explained.

Ruby and Luis didn’t plan for a honeymoon because everyday is a honeymoon for them. They already have their little Romieo.
