Jag and Sue own and operate Stripped Wax Bar, a chain of hair removal salons in Canada. They’ve have had mutual friends for a long time and occasionally their circles overlapped. They initially met at Sue’s 25th birthday party. A few years later Sue asked Jag to join her for New Year’s Eve and the rest is history.

The most memorable thing I can remember from my wedding day was when the elevator doors opened and I saw Sue looking like a goddess in her wedding dress. A close second would be getting down on the dance floor with our friends and family, knowing everything went as great as expected, with everyone around us laughing, dancing, crying and smiling”, Jag recalled.

Coming from large families and the professional network, we really wanted to keep the event as intimate as possible. We figured the best way to do it would be Vegas, so our closest friends and family could make it, but at the same time ensure our guest list didn’t reach 600 people. Vegas has been our happy place. It’s vibrant, fun and exciting – just how we like things. We just knew it was going to be a guaranteed good time for us and all our guests. It was also a great way to roll our stags and wedding into one crazy weekend”, the couple explained.

We chose Mandarin Oriental for our reception for its outstanding service, flexibility, quality of food, attention to detail and breathtaking room. Hands down, the best venue on the Strip”, said Jag and Sue.

We are from Vancouver and so we relied heavily on online reviews to choose our vendors. We found Memory Lane Video through the internet. What made us book with them was their prompt service, great portfolio of work and reasonable prices. On the day of our event we loved how invisible the crew was and the exit interview at the end of the night. The interview was such a special moment for us to be able to spend a few minutes together to reflect because they all say, it all goes by so quickly”, the couple recalled.

I personally was very hesitant about doing video because I am very camera shy but Jag was really pushing for it. In the end, I am so glad we did it because the day is filled with so many special moments that its hard to take it all in. So being able to watch those moments we may have missed is priceless for us”, Sue recalled.

The newlywed couple just came back from their 2 week honeymoon in Thailand.
