Our proposal was somewhat unique.  I (Jack) cut out some paper hearts which had printed on them “Will you be my MOM?”  I attached them to my dog’s harness.  Once I got to Dina’s house I put the harness on my dog and went in.  I let my dog (Jemma) just run.  She was running through the house with those hearts waving off her harness.  When Dina heard the noise she came out of the bedroom area.  When she saw what was written on them she asked, “Are you giving Jemma to me?”   At that point, I said No, and handed her the ring box.  As I opened the box to present the ring to her she looked shocked and began to cry.   After several minutes I had to ask her if the answer was Yes or No?!  Obviously, it was Yes, or we wouldn’t be writing this now.

We chose our venue, Bears Best, based on the all inclusive price, appearance, their established recommended vendors, and gut feeling we got after talking with their planner and staff.  We also liked the view and that it all happened in one place.  Our guests wouldn’t have to drive one place for the ceremony and another for the reception.

The one thing we spent money on that I  (Jack) think was a great value for our dollars was Bears Best.  Their all inclusive package left nothing out.  It covered food, drink, flowers, cake, photography, video, music and invitations.

The thing I (Dina) believe we got the value of our money was also Bears Best.  They did so much.  From decorating the reception area to Ed’s decorating the lawn with his original rose petal swirl.  The staff at Bears Best was outstanding in every aspect.  Even our guests commented on the attention they received during the reception.  Ed and his staff went above and beyond what we expected.

We were very pleased with Myron Hensel our photographer, Las Vegas Custom Cakes for our wedding cake (and several others since) and Knight Sounds for keeping the party going and knowing how to read an audience.

We met Memory Lane Video at the Bears Best open house spring of 2016.

What really sold us on Memory Lane as our videographers were the use of the drone for aerial and the finished product we viewed during our appointment with John.  We also appreciate the fast responses we have received when asking questions.  The behind the scene interviews were fun and their staff made the experience even more enjoyable.

I believe having a full event video will allow us to enjoy our special day for years to come.  Already we are planning on watching the video each anniversary.  The video for us will become part of our annual anniversary celebration and tradition.  In our opinion, Memory Lane product comes with the highest level of professionalism.  The staff, the edited product.  The videos we have seen are all of the highest quality and have a great natural flow.
