Brent proposed to me on top of Makapuu Point in Hawaii. One day while we were sitting in the pool he mentioned he would like to climb Diamond head or Makapuu Point this trip. I agreed and asked if we could go tomorrow morning. Brent started sweating, and my mom knew what was up. In the morning we left for our hike before anyone in the house was awake. It was 8 am, super hot out and the trade winds were blowing. We got half way up and saw the light house; I thought that was far enough of a climb, let’s turn around. Brent wanted to go all the way to the top and said it would be an awesome view. We made the hike in 45 minutes. As I was ready to leave Brent asked if they could take one more, he set down his backpack and got out a box and on one knee he asked me to marry him. I couldn’t believe what was happening. I said OK!! And we all laughed and cried!

We chose Vegas as our destination for our wedding because we loved Vegas and knew our friends and family would join us. We chose the Palms Sky villa as our venue for our reception because we wanted a non-formal cocktail party that would hold all of our guests, catered our food and drinks and a bonus was a hot tub looking out onto Vegas. We chose the Juno Garden at Caesars Palace for our ceremony because we loved the outdoors and wanted our ceremony outside.

Going into our wedding day, I thought we had foolishly over spent on all of our vendors. After the wedding was over, I realized we were paying for the amazing quality of all the outstanding service we received. I feel every detail of our day was worth every penny spent. Brent agreed and said it was an expensive wedding but well worth it. He said the best money spent was to Memory Lane for our wedding video which we look forward to watching over and over!

Since we live in Canada, our only option for selecting our vendors was online. We searched online for a few days before selecting Memory Lane, once we saw a few videos on the Blog, we knew that we wanted something special like those of others Memory Lane captured to cherish forever. We love that the video tells a story and captures the perfect moments. The day went by so quickly, and now we have the memories on video to watch over and over. The guys that came to film us during our day were awesome to be around and fun, we felt natural talking to them during our interviews. We recommend booking memory lane for a videographer, the fantastic service, the personable staff, made our day extra special, the style, and quality of our video are like nothing we dreamed of. It’s the perfect best keepsake of our day for sure!!
