We were visiting my family back home in Chicago when Robert proposed to me. We got a room downtown at the Wyndham, we took the train to the city from my grandparent’s house and spent the day exploring the city. That night we had dinner at the John Hancock building and decided to take a walk down the river walk. As we were walking back to our hotel room I was slightly in front of him and he turned me around and was on one knee. He had totally surprised me and I had no idea he was planning on proposing. He asked me to marry him and of course, I said YES! It was absolutely amazing.
We chose Bear’s Best after looking at only three different venues. We attended their open house in January of 2016. We spoke with all their preferred vendors and just fell in love with the place and the people we would be working with. We loved that they had an all-inclusive package that would make it easier to choose vendors. Of course, the venue was beautiful but what made me decide to have our wedding at Bear’s Best was the staff. We had the best experience when planning our wedding because of the wonderful staff at Bear’s Best. They answered all our questions in a timely manner, helped with making decisions on what to do, and eased my nerves when something was not going exactly right.
Another vendor we were very pleased with was our photographer, Myron. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and took some amazing photos. Two of the most important items for our wedding were the photos and video. This is the only way that you are able to look back on your special day and remember it.
We booked Memory Lane because their work is unbeatable. We met John for a consultation and then researched other videographers and none of their work matched that of Memory Lanes. We kept saying how could we book anyone else after we have already seen and met the best. On our wedding day, the one thing that we both loved the most was how comfortable to videographers made us feel. We did not feel weird being in front of the camera and they were so professional. We felt like they were our friends, not someone that was hired to record you during your special day, but someone who was truly happy for your marriage and to be apart of your special day.
A video is one of the most important investments to make on your wedding day. The only way to document one of the best days of your life and be able to relive every moment is through a video.
