Bear’s Best Golf Club – Vinetta + Andy – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

“Andy works with computers and I am a commercial banker.” said Vinetta.

Let’s visualize how Andy and Vinetta met. “Andy and I met at work. We both worked for the same bank and I asked him out on a date. Our first date was an awkward dinner at the Palace Station. He says I consistently ignored him the entire date however he doesn’t realize I was just nervous. I was so nervous that I didn’t order anything to eat. We didn’t kiss on our first date or even hold hands or even hug. I liked Andy but I couldn’t quite tell if he liked me back.” Congrats Vinetta! That one date led to the start of a beautiful life together!

“The most memorable moment from our wedding that Andy and I laugh about constantly is the moment Andy placed my wedding ring on my RIGHT ring finger. Although I tried to pull my hand back slowly he had a firm grip on my right hand and started sliding my ring on. I didn’t want to be obvious so I played along as if I wasn’t aware. :)” humorously remembers Vinetta.

The couple’s favorite aspects of their wedding were “reuniting with life long friends and family from near and far. The morning of the wedding was another favorite for both of us. Andy and his groomsmen had the entire morning and day together getting ready allowing them more than enough time to goof off, laugh and reminisce of old times – this was special for each of them. They have been friends since elementary school and this was the first time all 4 have been together in 15 years. As a bride, the morning of the wedding couldn’t have been planned out better. The house was filled with my immediate family and my bridesmaids. As untraditional as it may sound, my brothers were all at my house. They took care of breakfast, they watched my toddler son and kept him occupied while the bridal party got ready. My best friend and bridesmaid did make-up for 7 including herself. The bridesmaids all did their own hair even with the help of the bride and we still managed to have time to spare. Even with the limousine arriving 20 minutes late I didn’t have a worry on my mind. It was going to be a great day and I was ready for it. The reception was THE best time for everyone. I would even say the staff at Bear’s Best and maybe even Memory Lane can attest to this. The first dance was sang by our niece all the way from Washington state. We had our family band come in from Washington state as well to play live music. We had bodies on the dance floor all night long and there was probably 7 “last dances” that night. To this day we cannot stop laughing at the dance battles that took place on the dance floor and even after Bear’s Best was cleaning up and took down the actual floor. What can we say, it was a celebration.” Wow! This sounds like the ultimate wedding!

“To anyone planning their wedding, my advice to you is to do what YOU want to do, keep it simple and keep it real.” smartly advises the couple.

“What helped us in selecting the venue for our wedding reception was the all-inclusive package that Bear’s Best offered. This just simplified the entire process. The location was ideal, I wanted something classy and remote and they had it covered.”said the couple.

Apart from Memory Lane, the couple was content with all their other vendors as well! The couple added  “LED Unplugged was not a contracted vendor included in the Bear’s Best package however both Bear’s Best and Memory Lane provided them as a referral and their bistro lighting they put together for our reception just set the right mood for the evening”

“My sister was married in 2011 and Memory Lane did a video for her and that was how we first learned about Memory Lane. Since then and even before we had our venue selected we were already planning on having Memory Lane handle our wedding as well. You can imagine the excitement for us seeing that Memory Lane was part of the Bear’s Best package.”
 said the couple.

Now that the wedding is over.. “I’ve learned that my husband was right. Initially I didn’t want a wedding ceremony and I didn’t want to fuss with the planning but in the end, I couldn’t have been happier with everything. What was most important for the both of us was being married in a church. We both believe that having God in our marriage and in our lives is the foundation for a long and happy marriage. I can honestly say I didn’t stress too much with the wedding. Andy and I were able to stick to our budget and we both agreed on the same things. Some couples have a disagreement on the guest list however we both agreed that we were not going to turn anyone away that wanted to be a part of our wedding day. We are simple and I feel our wedding was the perfect description of us, simple and elegant and easy. “

Vinetta’s advice to couples planning their weddings is “to keep it simple. Plan your wedding based on what you want. If you are able to find an all-inclusive package take it. It simplifies the process so much. The day of your wedding is supposed to be the happiest day of your life.”

“I’ve seen previous videos that Memory Lane put together including the video you did for my sister’s wedding and that was enough for my husband and I to know we wanted Memory Lane to be a part of our wedding as well. Memory Lane was the only company we were aware of that handled videography so we were prepared to engage Memory Lane even before we knew they were included in the Bear’s Best package.” explained the couple.

What the couple most admired about Memory Lane, was the fact that the “The crew that covered our wedding were very down to earth and great to work with. My husband and I really enjoyed working with them.”

“To describe the necessity of the video to future clients, I’d say it is an absolute must have. I have not received the video or even preview of the wedding however everyone that was at the reception has asked constantly when the preview will be ready. They are asking us to host a release party when we get the video. To be able to capture the actual moments, the first kiss, the energy, the excitement in a video versus a still shot it just brings you back to the moment so you can re-live each scene play by play.” genuinely describes the couple.

Where is the couple go on their honeymoon you may ask? “Andy and I plan to honeymoon in Europe, Barcelona, Spain to be exact. We are taking a delayed honeymoon in fall of 2015. I have been to Europe before but I want to experience all the beauty and culture with my husband, who has never been.” stated Andy and Vinetta.

  1. Thank you we enjoyed watching your ceremony sorry we couldn’t make it but watching this confirms we lost out on another fabulous wedding with the family in Las Vegas someday we hope to make it up there take care and God bless Tanu Mapu and family

  2. A wedding video is a really good idea. Why not capture what all went on in a video instead of a picture? I think it would be fun to get married in Vegas. There are already a lot of things to do there and I bet you could get some really good deals just by getting a marriage package. I have thought about having my wedding in Vegas, but I think my fiancee will have to decide that for me.
