Cili at Bali Hai – Jayne + James – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

James works as a Tour Operator in Dublin and Ireland selling cruises and USA & Long-haul packages to honeymooners and families alike. Jayne works for the Irish Stock Exchange in Dublin, Ireland. “I work in the department that releases all of the information to the marker” explains Jayne.  “We met on a cruise back in November 2010.” explained the couple. James was working on it and Jayne was out for the holiday’s with her family. “One look across the dance floor and we have never looked back! Thanks for coming over to speak to me James” remarks Jayne! When asked about the couple’s first date, they answered “Our first date; well as we were both living in different countries James flew over to England and I had organized a jam-packed weekend (just in case there were any awkward moments, we would be so busy that we shouldn’t notice!) In the day-time we visited Alton Towers, which is a theme park about an hours drive away. We spent the day going on all the rides and doing a lot of talking while queuing! When night fell, Jayne had booked for us to go to a comedy show in Manchester and then a few drinks afterwards. The weekend went really well…….look at us now!” the happily married couple said.

Remembering small details about one’s wedding is always nice! James explained “To pick a most memorable part of the day is tough as there were so many! Turning around to see my gorgeous bride standing there looking Just Outta this World!!” Another memorable thing the couple shared was “Our 1st dance which we rehearsed for ages. It started with a slow dance to ‘Saxobeat’ followed by a fast dance compilation of Jackson 5, MC Hammer & LMFAO…………Quality!!” They must have had an amazingly fun slow dance. Jayne explained her most memorable moment as “I didn’t want to know what James would be wearing on the day so walking down the aisle and seeing James looking gorgeous in his white jacket, black trousers and black and white spats was the best part of the day. He couldn’t have looked any more dashing if he’d tried!”

Favorite aspects of a couple’s wedding is always tough to choose. For James, they were his beautiful bride, his family, and friends. There’s nothing like being surrounded with the the one’s you love! For Jayne, her favorite wedding details were her husband, family & friends, and venue! She also couldn’t leave out the fantastic food, drink and service at their venue.

All the couple had to conclude about their advice toward others planning their  wedding was “Don’t do it!!! Haha…..Don’t stress too much, all will work out perfectly and you will have the day of your dreams.”

“Las Vegas…….Why Not” concluded the couple. James didn’t want Ireland while Jayne didn’t want UK. “So we decided to go abroad and Vegas ticked all of the boxes.” When Jayne was doing the research online she came across Bali Hai and sent the info to James and Bingo……James had played golf there when he was last in Vegas in 2005! It was meant to be!

“To be honest…..All of them. Not one element was the wrong choice and everything worked out perfectly. All of them were booked over the internet so anything could have gone wrong but lucky for us it didn’t!” the couple explained. They were very content with how everything turned out. Their final vendors were Cili Restaurant (Bali Hai), Keith Kaplan (Photographer), Amelia (Hair & Make-up), Tuxedo Junction (Suit Hire), and finally Elite Transport (Party Bus Hire).

“We first saw Memory Lane’s video on the Cili website and thought their work looked great.” said the couple.

James explained that “We learned that organizing a wedding abroad is easier and less stressful than what we expected (thanks to my wife☺) and would recommend it to anyone thinking of getting hitched. In particular getting married in the USA, the level of customer service is phenomenal and we honestly don’t think we would have received the same level of attentiveness in either Ireland or the UK. The importance for us was that the day went smoothly and that our guests had a really enjoyable day.

Don’t worry about things that you have no control over, like the weather.”

“The advice that I would give anyone planning their own wedding is: Choose things because they are what you want, if you are planning a wedding abroad use a reputable website that has customers provide reviews so that you can gauge whether they deliver and overall don’t stress as that will just interfere with your enjoyment of the day.” Don’t stress, and enjoy your day!

“We wanted to book your services due to the amazing videos that we had seen and the recommendation from Nikki at Bali Hai.” explained the married couple.  We ultimately chose Memory Lane as soon as we had watched the video on the Cili website we knew Memory Lane was for us.” remarked James.

The couple admired Memory Lane Video! “On the day of our wedding we admired Memory Lane Video because looking back we weren’t aware that they were there (in a good way!) I (Jayne) would normally be very self-conscious if I felt like I was being filmed but because of the way that they conducted themselves I never felt like they were intruding in our day which is brilliant considering they were there for all of the moments during the day!” Jayne concluded.

“Capturing your wedding on film is a lasting reminder of the day that belongs completely to you both. You have spent a good portion of time and energy in planning your special day and to have it to keep and revisit whenever you want to is the best wedding gift (other than each other!) that you can give yourselves. After seeing Memory Lane’s work you will know that they do fantastic work and having had them video us on our wedding day we would fully recommend that you book them too!” excitedly reported Jayne.

“We will be honeymooning in Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale, a Western Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean and finally staying in Miami before heading home.

As James sells these destinations everyday he wanted to live the dream that he books every day for other people, visiting some amazing places like Jamaica, Haiti and Miami. We hope to take a trip down ‘Memory Lane’ every so often to remember great times! Sláinte xx” describes Jayne.
