Emerald at QueensRidge – Alma + Adrian

Adrian works as a dealer in the casino industry and Alma works in the school district as a kindergarten teacher. The two met in December 2002 when Alma began to work at the local GAP store. The first thing came across her mind when she first was introduced to him during orientation was, “Wow, this guy has a pretty huge afro.” When she first started working, they barely talked to each other. It wasn’t until a couple of months later when they were both scheduled to work a late hour shift, they began to have a conversation while they folded clothes in the store. That is when the two realized that they had a few things in common. At that time he was very obsessed with his pens so during one of their meetings, Alma decided to take one away and see how he would react. After the meeting Alma texted him, “Guess who took your pen?” Which then lead to the two talking on the phone and then setting up a movie date. And that is where their relationship began.

Alma decided to browse ‘the knot’ website to view local Videographers in Las Vegas. Alma was surprised the work of  Memory Lane Video therefor was able to view all of our videos.  After watching all the videos and reading all the great reviews, she was hooked! She shard with me, , “Wow, it feels like I am watching a movie.” I don’t know why but whenever I was on the computer I would go back to their blog to view the most updated videos and I would fall in love again with their work. Each video was unique and I knew that is what I wanted that for our wedding.”

When finalizing my search for a videographers, I was set into deciding between two companies,  during our appointment, Ricky and John made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. After looking at more samples of their work, in the back of my mind I was like “This is it, this is exactly what I want! There is no way that we can walk away and not have them for our wedding.”

On the day of our wedding, there were a lot of things to take care of, but the crew at Memory Lane Video never rushed us and kept us on a nice easy going pace. Adrian was surprised throughout all the chaos of having a wedding they remained professional and organized. I was really nervous about being filmed, since I am a very shy person, however John and his crew made us feel very comfortable. At times I would forget that they were there filming us, they never got in the way of the special moments that we had throughout our wedding.

“I highly recommend for anyone to make sure that you book the right videographer. This will be a memory that you could keep and relive after your wedding. To look back and get to view all the little details that you weren’t able to see that day; is priceless. “Memory Lane Video will give you all that and much more.”

Alma and Adrian decided to go with Emerald Queensridge as our venue because they felt that it had everything that they were looking for. They loved how everything looked from the chiffon draping in the trees to the lightening effects in the reception room.

When I asked Alma what was the most memorable moment of the day, she shared the following:

“I would have to say the wedding ceremony. When the music changed and it was time for my dad and I to walk down the aisle, my emotions were out of control. My dad noticed and squeezed my hand and I thought, “This is it! Our day is here and we are finally getting married!” For Adrian the most memorable thing was standing at the alter, and seeing all the friends and family there for our wedding.”
