Lannie and Andrea first met when they were both 15 years old. Lannie worked at the McDonald’s in the Circus Circus Midway arcade. Andrea and her friends kept looking over at Lannie debating whether Lannie looked like Andrea’s favorite band member Chris from Another Bad Creation. Andrea and her friends decided to linger around the McDonald’s until Lannie got off work. Once Lannie was done for the day, Andrea’s friend DeAndrea went over to talk to Lannie and eventually introduced Andrea to Lannie. From that moment, Andrea and Lannie became close friends, fell in love but dated other people. After their high school graduation, they did not speak to one another for over 16 years! Soon after graduation, they went their separate ways, they married other people, had children, and then divorced. Luckily fate brought them back together again after years apart!

After 16 years, Lannie and Andrea had their first date together at the Yard House. However, it did not go as planned. They were both extremely nervous, Andrea spilled two glasses of wine, they did not order any food, and then left because Andrea felt ill. Later, they had their first ‘real’ date. This time they went to Beso and everything during the date went off without a hitch.

It took a few years for Lannie to propose to Andrea as it was a complete surprise.  Andrea was under the impression that they were heading out to dinner to help cheer her up about not finding their perfect house after searching for a long time. On the way to dinner, Lannie had to make a quick stop. He took her to one of homes top floor that they had considered. Overlooking a fantastic view, Lannie brought out a  few flameless candles, a bottle of wine, glasses. There he proposed to Andrea and of course she said “Yes!”

They were married at the Emeralds at Queensridge because they were looking for a venue that was elegant and Emeralds was just the perfect choice. Lannie and Andreadesired a venue that was able to work with their short time frame. After 7 weeks, Lannie and Andrea became husband and wife!

The most memorable moment for both of them was the first glance. They describe the moment as “unreal” and “puts everything in perspective”. The first glance made them realize that they were actually going to be married. Another memorable moment was when Andrea was walking down the aisle.

Lannie and Andrea believe that they spent their money well on their wedding photos and wedding video because the photos and video will help them remember one of the most important days of their lives. Andrea is most grateful to Memory Lane for working on the video montage of her father. She says that it felt as if “he was still apart of the day”.

Lannie and Andrea heard about Memory Lane Video through a wedding package provided by Emerald at Queensridge. The couple was amazed by the high quality videos that Memory Lane  create.  After meeting with with John, they knew that Memory Lane understood what they were truly looking for as an engaged couple that were ecstatic to be married. Lannie and Andrea would like other engaged couples to know that a “video is so important” because on the wedding day, it is difficult to be 100 percent in the moment. With Memory Lane’s help, they will capture every moment and make it possible to relive the wedding experience over and over.

On the day of the wedding, Lannie and Andrea admired how professional Memory Lane was and that they did not have to worry about the videographers. Furthermore, they were pleased with flowers from Blossoms by Gayle and 702Makeup who did an amazing job on the entire bridal party.

In the future, they hope to see their younger children graduate from high school and find their place in life. Meanwhile, they will finish the completion of their home and hope to start a business of their own. Once those are completed, they want to travel all over the world!
