Emerald at QueensRidge – Ashley + Ricardo – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

This story that Memory Lane Video brings to you today is about a young woman by the name of Ashley, being a Clinical Quality Analyst for United Health Care, and a young man by the name of Ricardo, currently a Bell Runner for Delano Hotel.

Ashley and Ricardo had met 14 years ago when Ashley had traveled to Lana’i for a family vacation. Ashley’s cousin had taken her out one night to Ricardo’s house and found him standing on the porch of, “ I couldn’t take my eyes off of him!” Blushed Ashley.  As they left the house to drive around the island, they began to get to know one another and Ashley just knew that Ricardo was going to be the guy she marries. This is where the two of their paths were meant to be at this point and time, leading up to their wedding, just as Ashley had called it back then.

Memory Lane Video had asked the two amazing newly weds, to share with us the most memorable part of their wedding. “The moment Ashley walked down the aisle, I could not wait to see Ashley and she looked so beautiful and perfect!” Said Ricardo with a big smile. “Walking down the isle with my father, a moment I had long been waiting for and at that moment in time, nothing else mattered!” Said Ashley with tender emotion.

Not only was their wedding everything they had envisioned, but if they had to choose only 3 details from their wedding as their favorites, first would have to be, “Our venue Emerald at QueensRidge, it was so gorgeous and the entire staff were amazing throughout the entire wedding planning and even more so on our special day!” Shared Ashley and Ricardo. Second favorite was, “A piece of my grandma Sugar’s purple mumu. She had worn this infamous purple mumu during my childhood as well as high school and college graduation. Had she been here today, she would have worn it. My cousin took a piece of it and cut it into a heart and I wore it inside my dress.” Said Ashley with Great Spirit. Coming in third would be, “My 1001 cranes that I had collaged. I stated this in September of 2014, making 1000 cranes to Ricardo’s 1 crane!” Laughed the couple. “We shipped them to Hawaii to collage into a infinity sign, which turned out beautifully.”

In bringing some wisdom and advice to future newly weds, Ashley and Ricardo would like to share this, “All of the stress, energy and thought that you put into your wedding and details, is actually all worth it in the end. We would even relive our stressing moments just to experience our wedding day all over again, but in the end, everything turns out just as you had hope it would. We learned that anything can happen leading up to your wedding and even can happen on the actual day itself. Instead of getting stressed, just let it go and enjoy each other’s company. We just wanted to make sure that everyone enjoyed themselves and had a good night while celebrating with us.”

Memory Lane Video asked our couple about the deciding factor in choosing their venue. Ashley had attended a Bridal Show at Red Rock with a friend where she had won a gift card from Emerald at QueensRidge. “Ricardo and I went to get our gift card from the venue and they had given us a tour. We absolutely fell in love with everything! We knew we did not need to go to any other open houses as we were dead set on booking Emerald at QueensRidgeto be our venue!” Shared Ashley.

“We were really happy with Randi Garrett from Naakiti Florist as she helped make our vision for our wedding come true. We really wanted something special by having our dog come down the aisle, and she did, in her wagon with a white pillow, white tutu skirt and a sign saying Here Comes Mommy, was just so special and dear to Ricardo and I.”

In the wedding planning process, Cicely and Ken, “Truly helped out so much, especially since my mother was still in Hawaii and was not able to physically be there to help finalize details for the wedding, they offered great advice, and made a lot of the wedding planning process stress-free for the both of us. We could not be any happier with how the entire day turned out!” Shared Ashley.

Memory Lane Video always enjoys hearing our sweet couple’s testimony in choosing video for their weddings, “They came with high recommendation from Cicely and we were very impressed with the videos we saw online and in person. Memory Lane Video showed us examples of each package, pointing out the differences and remembered past clients and the special moments they captured of their clients. We did not feel pressured into making a decision immediately, and they worked with us and our needs to ensure everything went smoothly. We believe it to be a necessity to have video for your wedding day because a picture may be able to capture that special moment, but video captures the entire moment, mood and emotion of your entire day. Future clients, we recommend Memory Lane Video to you all. Not only were they very professional, but also they work with your timeline schedule and accommodated what needed captured when it was convenient for Ricardo and I. They actually took the time to get to know us so they could create such an amazing video with all of the most important highlights during our special day!” Shared Ashley and Ricardo with great enthusiasm.

“We will be spending our Honeymoon in California during November to San Francisco to watch a 49ers game! Ricardo being a big fan, so this will be such a great and fun first for the both of us!” Shared Ashley with such a big smile! “In December, since we are Disneyland annual pass holders, we will be heading to San Diego, Hollywood, Santa Monica and surrounding cities, and of course…DISNEYLAND!” Said with extreme excitement!

Memory Lane Video would like to send big congratulations to Ashley and Ricardo, as well as, our many thanks for allowing us to capture your wedding day. We wish you all the best of happiness together and many safe travels through your journey in life together!
