2810 Private Estate – Kelly + Karim – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

Karim is a financial advisor at TD Bank. Kelly is a registered nurse in chronic disease management.

They first met at Karim’s house when Kelly was heading out on a road trip with his sister.  Kelly had been friends with his sister for over 6 years before they actually met. Our first date involved them going to eat dinner at a steakhouse. They sat at the bar because their table wasn’t ready and the conversation flowed and the laughter continued until late at night. They then headed to Starbucks where Kelly introduced Karim to the wonderful world of Chai Latte, to this day he is still hooked.

“The most memorable thing that I can’t stop thinking about was Karim’s vows. He’s always been so good with words but when he read them to me it made my heart melt. I tried so hard not to cry. He definitely makes me feel like the happiest woman in the world,” said Kelly.

“The most memorable moment for me was seeing Kelly in that beautiful wedding dress. She kept it hidden from me for over a year and I was just so eager to see it. She looked like an angel in it and I still to this day keep asking her to put it back on,” said Karim.

“Three details from our wedding that were our favorite was 1, getting married at that lovely villa surrounded by friends and family that we haven’t seen in a long time. 2, would be the FOOD! We had such awesome caterers and the food is still something we talk about. And 3, would be the after party at the Bellagio. Having the fountains in the background, surrounded by good company and awesome music, it made for such a memorable night,” the couple recalled.

“The one piece of advice we can offer other couples planning their wedding is to make a budget at the start and set it in stone. Do not let silly things make you go over and beyond your budget,” said Kelly and Karim.

“Some of the key factors that helped us choose our wedding venue was that the 2810 was a private of the strip location. We loved that it had this massive pool for everyone to enjoy and the bridge with the gazebo in the middle was perfect for our wedding location. It had enough bedrooms to fit all our family and friends,” the couple explained.

“The other vendor that we were happy to have chosen was the caterer, Masterpiece Cuisine. We are foodies, and love to enjoy a good meal and boy, did they make a delicious feast. We loved how professional they were. They came to setup, cook and cleaned up at the venue without us even noticing they were there. If it wasn’t for the lovely food smell coming out the kitchen you wouldn’t have known we had caterers working at the venue,” said Kelly and Karim.

“We heard about Memory Lane Video through the research we did on the internet. We knew we wanted a videographer instead of a photographer since everyone pretty much has a camera phone these days. After looking through some sample videos on their blog, we knew we had to go with Memory Lane Video,” the couple recalled.

“What we learned after the wedding was over was that we could do anything together. We were able to survive the stress of getting things organized and making sure everyone was happy at the house. The most important thing we learned was that we cannot live without each other. We are each other’s support system and we love each other more than anything.  The things we thought were not worth the stress was worrying about some friends and family who weren’t able to be there because of the location we chose,”explained Kelly and Karim.

“The advice we can give other couples about planning their wedding is to concentrate on what you want the day to look like. Not what some magazine, movie and people tell you your wedding should look like,”the couple said.

“What made us book Memory Lane Video was the videos that were posted on their blog. They looked like they came straight from Hollywood and they had a high level of professionalism about it. The reviews we read on wedding sites also proved Memory Lane Video was the MVP of videography. What we most admired about Memory Lane Video on the day of our wedding was how professional and personable the film crew were. They kept us right on schedule and incorporated everyone at the wedding including our doggies.” explained Kelly and Karim.

“The way we would describe the necessity of video is that its poetry in motion. A picture just cannot do justice to capture a memory. Having sound and motion can really capture the true spirit of the moment. With the advancement in cell phone cameras you will be getting lots of wedding guests taking some great shots for you to keep. In our opinion, your wedding photographer budget should be replaced for a videographer,” the couple said.

Kelly and Karim will be honeymooning in France in the next year. They chose France because it is the romance capital of the world. From its historic capital city to its beautiful southern beaches, France is the place to be for newlyweds. Plus, the French cuisine is second to none in the world, something they are very excited to try out.
