Tropicana Hotel – Alex + Rachelle – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

A Wedding filmed by Las Vegas Wedding Videographers, Memory Lane Video.

Alex is an electrical engineering estimator, and Rachelle a registered nurse.

We met while we were kids in Doha, Qatar. The first time we actually ever took each other serious was when we went gun shooting. It was then when we realized how compatible our personalities and goals were“described the couple.

Alex stated his most memorable moment of the wedding was “seeing Rachelle walk down the aisle and announcing theirs vows for the first time.”Three other memorable moments from their wedding were, 1) Alexander’s dance with his groomsmen, 2) The Priest’s (Alex’s Uncle) personalized sermon, and 3) Missy fighting for the bouquet and having the guys spontaneously carry Chris (the groomsman) to catch it because the bridesmaid who caught the bouquet was his girlfriend who he will be proposing to soon!!

Advice Alex and Rachelle would offer any couples planning their wedding would be:

  • It is your wedding, do what you want.- We all know how family can be when trying to influence your wedding plans! People you love will want things a certain way; fancy invitations, bigger guest list, traditional wedding. In the end do it the way you guys want.
  • Research your vendors. – We impulsively hired a vendor that was not a good fit for us. Had we looked at their reviews, we would have caught that right off the bat.
  • Hire a wedding planner! –Wedding planners may feel like an extra cost, but the cost of not having them is more expensive especially if it is a destination wedding. They’ll help you stick with your budget and be your go to person when things go wrong. Believe us, things will go wrong.

Alex and Rachelle chose the Tropicana Hotel as their venue because the spectacular view they had of the strip. “Our wedding was a destination wedding so the venue being close to the strip was a plus. We wanted our guests to be able to tour around the strip without having to commute far.

When discussing the necessity of video for a wedding, the couple stated, “Video is important because it captures the special moments and allows you to share them with loved ones who are near and far. Attending the wedding was not possible for our grandparents, so having a video to share our special moments with them means a lot to us. We are looking forward to sharing our wedding film with them! We researched companies within different price ranges. We chose Memory Lane for several reasons. Memory Lane had excellent reviews from their previous clients, we liked their style, and Ricky was really cool. We wanted to have a good memory of our wedding day. It was important to us that we have a video that would capture us making our vows, throwing the garter/bouquet, cutting the cake, and capturing all of the dance performances. It was just as important for us to have a video that was creatively edited and fun to watch. Memory Lane Video was also very professional and on time. We were so nervous but they made us feel at ease during the video interviews and were very helpful in answering our questions.

We will be honeymooning in Italy. They are known for their pasta and pizza. We want to see if their pizza is better than the streets of New York!” excitedly reported Rachelle and Alex!

Memory Lane Video wishes you a blissful and healthy life!
