Paiute Golf Club – Nikki + Prentyce – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

Prentyce is an electrical and computer engineer for JT3, a government-contracted company that works with the military. Nikki is a labor and delivery nurse at Summerlin Hospital. The couple both are graduates of UNLV. Although the couple met each other in their junior year of high school; in their first class together – Precalculus. The couple did not start officially dating until senior year, but couldn’t remember their first date. It is safe to say that it was over 10 years ago!
When it comes to memories from their weddings, for Prentyce it was moment he watched Nikki walk down the aisle, filled with emotion, she tried to hold back her tears. Nikki’s absolute most memorable moment was when she herself walked down the aisle. She shared how beautiful it was to see the faces of people that were most important to her and Prentyce. She was equally touched by Prentyce’s emotional reaction to her as she drew close to him. Their marriage vows were filled with creativity. As the couple creatively wrote them they added a flavor of humor as they shared how they felt about each other. Important to the couple were the mother-son-dance with Nikki’s mom, his aunt, his grandmother, and his sister. Since Prentyce’s mother had passed away almost five years prior, it was special for him to share and honor the important women in his life that play the role of his mother, Poferia. Wedding party speeches were unforgettable to the couple. The two of them, each come from large extended families and their siblings and cousins have been a part of their lives and through the ups and downs of the couple’s relationship. Their presence and words meant everything. Lastly, the couple love sharing the getting ready with their bridal party.
Details matter! The bride and her bridal party decorated the table settings with manzanita trees. A delicious detail was the cake table setup, with custom cake topper and seven flavors of Nothing Bundt cake, and the colors and ambiance of the ceremony space decorated by the ever-so-talented employees of Naakiti Floral.
We ask our newlyweds advice to provide to other future couples. The couple said the following, “If we could give other couples one piece of advice in planning their wedding, it would be to remember that this day will only happen once and not to compromise on what you really want, whether it be a certain vendor or that perfect dress or custom tuxedo. Make it happen! We were able to get everything we wanted for our special day through hard work and lots of planning. We cannot even begin to describe how elated we were on our wedding day and how we still are to this day.”
The couple hosted their wedding at the Paiute Golf Club. The factors that influenced the couple in choosing the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort for their wedding included the unique and secluded location, the opulent ballroom, the picturesque views, and most importantly, the remarkable and talented staff. Ginny and Brandy are extraordinary women whos talents superceed in their craft. The bride & groom complimented them by saying, “These two ladies made our wedding dreams come true and we won’t ever forget them.”
Wedding Vendor selection always plays an important role in executing a flawless wedding. We were curious to hear the couples reasoning behind their vendor selection and why. The couple shared, “Our photographer Cassidy of Cassidy Zellman Photography is an incredible human being and a talented photographer! We have become friends through this process and we knew she was the one the moment we met her. The pictures from our wedding are ones that we will treasure forever. She did a great job capturing the best day of our lives.”
And how exactly did the couple learn about our services? “We found Memory Lane through our favorite search engine, Google. We watched their films and were hooked! We feel so lucky to live in Las Vegas and to have had the opportunity to book Memory Lane Video for our wedding. Now that the wedding has commenced, the couple learned that great weddings come together due to great teamwork. Our gorgeous couple will be honeymooning in Orlando, Florida and will be visiting Disney World and Universal Orlando. It will be the couple’s first time in Florida, as they are super excited to visit the happiest place on earth.
