Amaury is French and the only way the could stay together after his visa was to get married. So basically, after just 5 months of dating in July 2014 they signed the marriage papers just so they could continue dating (no rings, no flowers, no wedding.. just the two standing in an office repeating vows). However! 5 months later, he did pop the question! He said, “Even though we are already legally married on paper, I don’t want me to miss out on a real proposal.” Brittney came home to rose petals leading upstairs and when she arrived to their bedroom, Amaury was standing there (in a suit) holding a little box. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him again.
