M Resort – Erica + Scott

The Love Story:

Erica & Scott met when her sister Lana started dating one of Scott’s friends.  They didn’t see each other again until 6 months later when her sister married that friend. Scott and Erica then realized they had strong feelings for each other; they were inseparable for the next two weeks that Scott was in town.

Choosing Memory Lane Video was simple for Erica, we had filmed her sister’s Lana & Brian’s Wedding at Lake Sidea year ago.  Erica shared with me, “I loved the video from my sisters’ wedding and I have seen many other videos that would make me emotional even though they were complete strangers…now that’s a powerful video! We didn’t look at any other companies; I was in charge of finding a video company while he was deployed to Afghanistan, easy job for me because it was Memory Lane Video without a doubt. I wanted a quality video that captured the emotion and happiness of the day and I knew Memory Lane was the only way to go. ”

On the day of their wedding weekend, the event turned into a little bit of a tornado with a lot of changes because their venue got switched to a completely different location for the ceremony and reception three days before the wedding, and they didn’t even get to see the new location until the day before. Erica shared, “The Memory Lane crew knew exactly what they were doing which made me feel like at least something was going right! —PRICELESS!”

In Erica’s final thoughts she had this to share with future clients of Memory Lane:

“To us video is so important because it is the best way to remember the day, pictures are great but they only capture single moments. We want to remember exactly what we were feeling and what our guests were experiencing, the video shows the excitement and fun of the night through our expressions and movement. Memory Lane is beyond professional; they know exactly how to film your wedding to make the video filled with the best parts of your wedding.”

The most memorable moment from Erica & Scott’s wedding day  was the moment that Erica walked down the aisle. There was a lot going on all day long and with all of the last minute changes and fixes that took place over the previous two days they were both maxed out on stress and exhausted. They both felt relief and overwhelming happiness at that moment because their time had finally come and at that point nothing else mattered besides saying their vows to each other and getting that kiss!

Erica, the team at Memory Lane Video would like to thank-you for being so wonderful and relieved through your wedding process.  You are an exceptional human with all that you and Scott went through, you kept your composure and were always very sweet.  Also, we want to thank your sister Lana for referring us to you.  We have been honored that we had the opportunity to share both of your special days.  It is my honor to present to you the beautiful wedding from the M Resort.
