Mandarin Oriental Hotel – Katrina + Chris – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers
Chris and Katrina are both family physicians for the University of Nevada School of Medicine here in Las Vegas.
The couple met during undergrad at UNLV in their microbiology class through mutual friends. They were friends for a couple of years, and when Chris was accepted to medical school, Katrina began to tease him that he would her “doctor husband” one day. They began to hang out more after having lunch together at “King and I” one afternoon. They played the “question game,” and as they got to know each other more and became closer, Katrina realized that he actually could be her “doctor husband” in the future. Chris was different from everyone else- besides being intelligent and handsome, to Katrina, he was so selfless, loving and respectful. As their relationship blossomed, she realized very quickly that she had finally found her prince charming- the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with and build a family with!
The most memorable moments for the couple were: For Chris: “Watching Katrina walk down the aisle. She was so beautiful and this moment brought tears to my eyes as I realized I would be spending the rest of my life with my best friend and favorite person in the world.”
Katrina: “The most memorable moment during our wedding day was our first dance during our reception. Our song was “One Word” by Elliot Yamin, and I had so much fun dancing with my husband.”
Chris and Katrina love City Center so they knew they wanted to get married at a hotel or casino there. Mandarin Oriental stood out because of its amazing view of the strip from the ballrooms and balcony. “Their food was amazing! The staff is friendly. Also, we liked that Mandarin Oriental is a unique and luxurious wedding venue.“
The couple attended the Bridal Spectacular Show and walked by the Memory Lane Booth and saw our Take The Plunge Save the Date video and were very impressed with it’s unique concept & creativity.
“We booked a meeting with Ricky and after seeing all the amazing highlight reels and wedding videos we knew that we wanted Memory Lane to capture all the memorable moments of our wedding. It was not just a person walking around recording everything but a true vision of capturing the moment as a movie.“

“This review is long overdue but I really wanted to take the time to say how amazing Memory Lane is and how imperative it is to have amazing cinematography for your wedding. Since we have gotten our video from Ricky we have not been able to stop watching the video. Friends and family have commented how artistic the video is. It is not like your typical wedding video. The events are condensed down to about 30-45 minutes and it captures all the key components of the wedding. It is the perfect length to keep anyone who is watching engaged.
