Once Annalyn and Dawyone started planning for the wedding, they incorporated the dream of always wanting to get married outside of Las Vegas, and they wanted a winter wedding for the longest. Although Vegas was a lively city, for them, it seemed to have a more “played out” theme when it came to wedding celebrations. And they ultimately decided for a destination wedding, in which case they realized that not a lot of their friends and family might be able to attend such a thing. So one day, they went to Mt. Charleston to have family pictures done, and they realized that they had forgotten there was a resort up there. So once their photo session was over, they stopped by over there, and they fell in love instantly with the environment, the feel of the surroundings, and how it didn’t have that “Vegas feel” to it. They immediately realized that with this place, they could get exactly what they were looking for… a destination wedding with a winter feel to it without having to leave the city entirely.

While the wedding, as they all do, superseded the proposed budget Annalyn still felt that the venue of where the wedding was at was entirely money well spent. It was something that they both agreed on immediately with no hesitation, and they got the not-so-Vegas wedding that they always wanted. Dawyone felt that the venue was money well spent as well due to the opportunity to spend time with friends and family in and out of the town.

Apart from Memory Lane, they were happy with everyone. Without any of their vendors, they would have been lost entirely. They have been so lucky to have such talented friends and the profession they’re in.

Memory Lane came about when they both decided to have their wedding recorded and decided to price it out. Memory Lane was their first and only stop. Lol. They initially found Memory Lane online when they were trying to research for a vendor. They read the ratings; they looked at the work you guys did in past weddings. Especially when they saw same-sex marriages you guys did, they just fell in love and were sold. That was when they reached out to set up a meet with my husband.

Annalyn and Dawyone booked Memory Lane for a couple of reasons. One being, John. He was a sweetheart and down to earth. We especially loved the fact that Memory Lane guys were out of a home; it seemed more humble to them. They always try to support Their business owners out there trying to hustle against more prominent giant companies. John was also honest and professional. They had a good time meeting, he made them feel comfortable, and for once, they weren’t intimidated in asking questions that they may have had. Plus, they were more psyched at the fact that they chose his birthday as their wedding day lol. Just a special day overall.

Annalyn and Dawyone were impressed with Memory Lane on the day of when it came to their professionalism. From what they remember, it was hectic that day… but the video crew handled their business, and they were impressed! Memory Lane guys were relaxed and laughing, almost like it wasn’t just all business and get this money… the entire crew was human with them… and they just loved it!

Apart from Memory Lane, Annalyn and Dawyone chose no one else, and never looked back!

When it comes to the necessity and importance of a video, they honestly believe a video is worth every penny. Pictures can capture and freeze a moment in time, and translate it into a thousand words… (and just as important, don’t get it wrong), but nothing compares to seeing the movements, the feelings, and actions translate from one moment to another in a fluid motion and having it captured as a movie. It’s truly captivating to watch that part of one’s life.
