Paiute – Jamie + Brien
Brien is a professional golfer trying to make it on the Web.com Tour this year and Jamie is a sales/non-profit professional.
They met through Match.com when they were living in Chicago. Tired of the ‘big city’ dating scene, Jamie tried her hand at online dating and Brien was the first guy she met with from Match. They talked online for a month before their work schedules allowed them both to be in town at the same time so when they finally had a chance to meet for drinks, they were thrilled. The minute Jamie walked into the brewery, Brien jumped off his stool at the bar, gave her the most heart-felt smile and she knew this could be good. After an 8 hour first date (and a 7 hour date the next night!), they couple never looked back!
Their thoughts on the most memorable moment of their wedding:
Brien’s was simple, he said “It’s how beautiful you were”. What Jamie will remember most is how special she felt knowing she was now Brien’s wife and that God had orchestrated a wedding and a union more perfect than the two could ever have planned. For Jamie, the wedding was about their love for each other and Their family and friends. With Brien’s mom passing away a month before the wedding and her funeral the Saturday before, the wedding was not only a true new beginning for Brien and Jamie, but was a beautiful celebration of life and love. They had nearly 100 people travel from across the country with just 6-weeks notice and for that the couple were eternally grateful.
They never planned to get married in Vegas, but when circumstances dictated it, they knew that they wanted a venue that was connected to nature and that was a contrast to what their guests might expect from a “quick Vegas wedding”. Naturally, they started looking at golf courses in the area and immediately & fell in love with the natural beauty that surrounded the Las Vegas Paiute and how accessible that beauty was from both inside and outside the venue. Also, they really connected with the coordinators, Ginny & Brandi and their “can-do” approach to weddings. They were clear that anything the copule wanted to do, as traditional or out of the box as it was, could be accommodated. The price was right, the layout was right and the natural beauty was untouchable!
Since the couple were planning quickly in a foreign city, Jamie asked every vendor she came in contact with for recommendations on everything from DJ’s, to hair/make-up, bakeries, florists and videographers. There were a few names that came up on multiple occasions and Memory Lane was one of them.
“Brien and I have both worked in sales so to us, it doesn’t matter how smooth of a talker you are or how many recommendations you can provide, what speaks to us is the product and from the minute we looked at Memory Lane’s work online, we were blown-away with what we saw. The creativity, the images, the style…it was all something we had never seen before seen in a wedding video, but something we knew we needed to have! Memory Lane was the first and only company we looked at. Once we saw the product, we knew there was no one else that could meet our needs like them! We loved that the team came fully prepared knowing what they needed to capture and when, they were flexible when needed, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their time with us. They gave us the most beautiful compliments on our wedding and told us that it was one of the most memorable/unique weddings they had attended; especially in regards to the smaller details throughout the day. To say the team was a pleasure to work with would be an understatement.
