Rejeana and Cheyne both work as engineers for the US Navy. They met at work and started dating after working a project together in Yuma, AZ.
“The most memorable thing about our wedding day would have to be when we did our hip hop dance. Just seeing everyone’s face and seeing that everyone was having a great time was more than enough for the both of us,” recalled the couple.
“Our 3 favorite details were 1, the Vegas strip in the background, we LOVED it. It’s beautiful to see in the pictures that our guests took. 2, the cake was absolutely beautiful as well. Freed’s Bakery did an amazing job with our cake and 3; we loved the bonfire area on the pool deck. We liked the fact that there were so many places to sit and relax and still be in the heart of the action,” said Rejeana.
“One piece of advice we have for other couples is to eat before the wedding. During the wedding we were so busy we barely touched our food,” said the couple.
“The main factors that helped us choose The Platinum Hotel were the afforability and their excellent communication skills. We’re not from Las Vegas so we planned everything via email,” recalled Rejeana and Cheyne.
“We heard about Memory Lane Video through the preferred vendor list at The Platinum Hotel. Yelp got us to contact them and see what they were about,” said Rejeana.
“Now that the wedding has commenced, I learned not to stress the small things. The things that were most important during the wedding were the people we choose to celebrate it with. The things not worth the stress were the small details that no one probably noticed. Like what kind of flowers we had or what color the napkins were going to be,” Rejeana recalled.
“Our advice to future couples on planning a wedding is don’t sweat the small things. Don’t go over your budget for things like colored napkins,” said the couple.
“We wanted to book Memory Lane Video because of the way they communicated with us. We hate waiting for people to reply back to emails especially people who would want your business, but Memory Lane Video was on point from the start. Everyone on their team was just awesome. On the day of the event, John and his assistant were like ninjas. We didn’t know where they were and they never got in the way of anything. John was amazing and very professional,” the couple recalled.
“My husband and I can’t remember most of the night. Not because he was drinking but because of all the excitement and activities we had going on. I believe a video captures all the memories we want to remember. New clients should book with Memory Lane Video because they are very professional and extremely easy to work with. “We had our honeymoon in Bora Bora. We both dreamed about this place and although it was very pricey, our honeymoon only happens once,” said the couple.
