After things started reopening after the shutdown, Scott and Stephanie learned that Palms where they originally had their room block would not be reopening in the short term, so they worked with Lydia to move the room block over to Red Rock and just began discussing possibilities of hosting the event there to avoid putting guests on buses to the original venue.  Lydia was amazingly helpful from the start and as they got further into the process Katie joined the planning team and they were both 100% available for all questions as they planned the whole wedding in about 4 weeks.  They were very transparent on what the requirements would be to keep the guests and staff safe for the event and worked closely with them to make their wedding both safe and as “normal” as the times would permit.  they had a perfect day and wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Weddings can be pricey but there’s always that one thing that stands out especially, for Scott it was the video and photo to help capture the moments and people that were with them to celebrate. For Stephanie – Open bar for the after-party – it was a nice way to end the night, a little quieter, easier to chat with people and catch up with guests who had traveled to celebrate with the pair.

Apart from Memory Lane, Scott and Stephanie can safely say, they were thrilled with all of their vendors. They understood that it was a crazy time and were so thankful that everyone was on board to make it work in the circumstances.  It was a long day wearing masks for all of the teams, but in the end, everything was perfect.

Scott and Stephanie found out about Memory Lane through a recommendation from Natalie and Brandon at Studio N.

Scott and Stephanie were really happy with their photographer selection but wanted the extra medium to capture the moments that aren’t the same in photos.  They wanted to have footage of the speeches and dances and parents and guests who were willing to travel to celebrate with them. So on that basis, they chose Memory Lane to fulfill those wishes.

On the day of, Scott and Stephanie loved that the team was 100% professional from the start, they worked closely with Natalie and Brandon to make sure that everyone got the shots that they needed, they were friendly and personable to have around while they were getting ready.

Apart from Memory Lane, Stephanie and Scott had Machado Visuals in mind however, when it came down to it Memory Lane had a better format and product for the couple’s taste.

Regarding the importance of a video and the basis on which Memory Lane should be chosen, Stephanie and Scott have this to say; If everything goes according to plan you’ll only have one wedding day, so the more ways you can capture those memories to look back on the better.  Memory Lane’s team was professional at all times and worked well with our vendors, even coming to tour the venue with us as we began replanning at Red Rock to understand what would be different as we maintained social distancing guidelines.  Memory Lane also had a solution for streaming the wedding to the friends and family members who couldn’t be there based on the pandemic and we received great feedback on the Facebook stream that allowed our loved ones to be part of our day with everything going on in the world.
