Nikki is a critical care nurse and Elrod is an emergency room nurse. Judging from their careers one would think they would have met at their work, but that was not the case.
They actually met on Christmas Day 2002, and it was at Elrod’s parent’s house in New Jersey. “Nikki and her friend were invited by my mom to eat lunch and we were introduced to each other.”
