Rachel is an attorney at Fox Rothschild specializing in employment law. Dan is a criminal defense attorney at the Clark County Public Defender’s Office.
Dan and Rachel both served as law clerks to district court judges. Dan’s bailiff, Jonathan, also happened to be Rachel’s bailiff, in a different department, ten years later. Dan became interested in Rachel after seeing her around the courthouse a few times, and asked Jonathan to try and set him up. Rachel, in the meantime, kept being approached by people she knew urging her to go out with Dan but Rachel initially didn’t think they were a good match. Coincidentally, one of her softball teammates had even seen Dan in court and suggested that Rachel go out with him. Eventually, Jonathan the bailiff coordinated a date between the two soul mates and the rest was history.

Memory Lane’s demo videos blew everyone else’s out of the water. The quality of the shots, the editing, the music, everything was so professional and well-done. Their demos made the next closest competitor look amateur in comparison. We wanted to star in our own wedding movie! Rachel shared with me, “Memory Lane was very professional and organized. They managed to take a lot of pre-wedding footage in a fairly short period of time, and did an incredible job working around all of the other chaos that was happening (DJ, food servers, bartender, family arriving, etc.) We were concerned that with multiple videographers, they would get in the way of the ceremony, but they did a great job of fading into the background while still getting the needed footage. All in all Memory Lane did a fabulous job. The reason we decided to book Memory Lane is because we realized that ten years from now, we will not have any way to relive that night, other than through pictures and video. With the amazing quality of video nowadays Dan felt strongly that the video would be even more important as a memory than pictures. While Memory Lane is quite costly, and may be outside many budgets, we think it was worth the cost considering that it will be our best memories of the wedding for years and years to come.”
The most memorable thing from their wedding day: For Dan, my most memorable moment was seeing Rachel in her wedding dress for the first time at the reveal. She was breathtaking. After the wedding, Rachel told me it was the best night of her life and nothing could have made me happier than to hear that. That was all I wanted 🙂
For Rachel, my most memorable moment was holding and kissing my (soon-to-be) husband after the reveal. It was one of the only quiet moments we had all night and I felt like we were at the center of the universe. But the whole night was truly magical for me.
