It was December 2, 2016, and Jerome and Rhea had just moved to Nevada from Michigan earlier that year. On that special night, they had decided to go out to the Cosmopolitan Hotel’s ice skating rink. It was a romantic night. The cold weather really set the setting of December winter. It was the perfect setting to propose, however, it wasn’t until in the car until Jerome popped the big question. They were driving home, and, while driving, Jerome suddenly asked Rhea to marry him. Rhea thought it was some sort of joke because Jerome didn’t even stop the car, however, it was definitely reality! Rhea then said yes, as Jerome put the ring on her finger!

They choose the date of May 3, 2018, to get married simply because of the weather. Rhea’s dream was to get married surrounded by flowers. Living in a desert, finding a venue that had a garden that was nice enough was a hard task. After much searching, they decided upon Wedgewood Stallion Mountain Golf Course.

“Weddings can be extremely expensive but in our situation, the money was well spent,” the couple said. “Jerome was a bachelor until he was in his early 40’s. He said ‘I waited this long to look for you…but you were worth the wait!’… Moments like this are priceless for us. They will surely be treasured in our hearts.”

“Overall, Jerome and I were truly happy with our decisions on vendors,” Rhea stated. “Staring from Wedgewood and staff, they did an amazing job in helping us plan the wedding. In addition, they hand-picked the best florist/decor- ACS Floral and photographers-Stephen Salazar photography.”

“Ann and her staff at ACS Floral made my vision come true… Ann had so many great ideas that merged with mine. She went above and beyond with the details… The ceremony location was breathtaking and the flower wall was to the tee of my taste (it was also a big hit for the guests).”

“Jenelle, our photographer from Stephen Salazar Photography also did an exceptional job capturing our moments from the engagement shoot, to the boudoir pictures of me and the wedding itself. Jerome and I felt comfortable with her. She always has a smile on her face and just a fun person to work with.”

“Makeup in the 702 makeup artist and hair designer made me feel so confident to walk down the aisle. I was worried from the beginning on how my hair and makeup were going to turn out since I am a simple woman who doesn’t like an overdone look. Their talents accented what my face and hair had to offer.”

“Ana, the owner of Bridal XOXO took care of my wedding dress. I also found my wedding dress from her boutique. She made my dress fit well for me while feeling comfortable in it. My wedding dress had a lot of details on it but she managed to make it look like it was custom made for me.”

“We are truly grateful and feel blessed to have worked with our vendors…Wedgewood and the other vendors were our angels and made us feel confident in planning. I had fun planning with all of our vendors. They all listened to what we wanted and made them happen.”

When asked about Memory Lane Video, the couple had this to say, “As we researched on hiring cinematographers, there was no doubt that Memory Lane would be our choice. The quality of their work is very much to our standards. The sample wedding videos we watched seemed like a movie and we wanted ours to be just like that.”

“On the day of the event, what Jerome and I admire the most about Memory Lane video was the way they interviewed us separately while we were getting ready. The interview showed the backbones of our wedding. It was very emotional. We actually can’t wait to see this part because Jerome and I were both caught off guard (in a good way)!”

As a closing statement, Rhea and Jerome stated, “Video is a necessity for a wedding in my opinion. Pictures are great in capturing moments but videos can do this plus it can take you back to that special day. Memory Lane Video and their staff are professionals. Ricky took his time in explaining the process to me and was very patient from the start. During the wedding, they were present but out of our way. They made sure they captured every detail necessary and the interview before the ceremony was an additional touch.”
