Don and Mia meet at a birthday party in Santa Clarita, California. It was the birthday boy and his sister who introduced Don and Mia to each other. Right way, the two felt something special but also knew that it was not the right time to start dating. After the party, Mia went back to San Francisco while Don traveled back to Las Vegas. Even though they were miles away from each other, they kept on communication any way possible and after 5 months of talking, they agreed to becomes an official couple!
Their first date was a dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in Palo Alto, California. After dinner, they did not want to end their fun and romantic night. Therefore, they walked along University Avenue enjoying the peaceful and lovely evening.
Three years later, Don proposed to Mia right before she would move and join Don in Las Vegas. He wanted to propose to her not only in front of relatives and friends but also in the presence of Mia’s son and daughter. Therefore, Don traveled to her town of San Francisco to propose to her and she said “YES!”, sharing the wonderful experience with everyone they love.
There was not special story behind their wedding date besides that it was a day in November where their families can join and witness their special day.
When beginning the process of planning a wedding, the newly engaged couple wanted a simple wedding but that changed when they realized that a wedding day was a “once in a lifetime” event that needs to be cherished for eternity. This led them to choose the Bear’s Best venue in Las Vegas. They said that the venue was a “perfect setting” with its ambiance, location, and scenery. The wedding coordinators were amazing and attentive to every detail in order for Don and Mia to have the perfect wedding experience. Everything came together once their family and friends continuously complimented the couple on how wonderful everything was.
For Don and Mia, they agreed that their most memorable moment was the ceremony where their marriage was sealed at the Christ The King Catholic Church. Also that this precious moment was witnessed by their dear family, relatives, and friends.
As far as money goes, they spent their money well on the wedding reception and hiring Memory Lane Video. They “never had a second choice” when it came to picking a wedding video company. They are ecstatic to have their own wedding video to “enjoy for a lifetime”.

Apart from Memory Lane Video, the couple was extremely pleased with their vendor’s photographer Myron Hansel. They describe him as “creative, talented, and professional”. With a great sense of humor, he made Don and Mia feel comfortable and at the same time producing top quality wedding photos that left the couple in awe. Another aspect that they were happy with was the vendor’s Unplugged lighting. They had the best reception lights. Especially with the Marque being one of the highlights of newly married couples day.
In the future, Don and Mia plan on traveling and enjoying their blessings that they were given. They are excited to watch their wedding video and remember the “happiest day of our lives”.
