Our proposal was amazing; we were in Garrett’s hometown in California taking family photos. The last photos were of Garrett on his knee asking me to marry him. It was very special because we had all of our family there; both of his parents and my parents were there as well. Garrett had this planned for a few months and kept it a secret from me the entire time, our parents knew the whole time and they did not tell me either. It was a very happy and surprising time in my life.
The reason that we choose June 10th was that that is when we first really met. We had met a few times before then but we really started talking as friends that day.
We chose Paiute over all the other locations because we were able to have the best of all worlds. We had the desert, water, and greenery all in one. One thing that was very important to us on choosing a venue was that they had water. We also wanted it to be a private affair so no one else could see what was going on during the ceremony.
One thing that Garrett thinks was money well spent was using Memory Lane Videography for our day. They captured the entire day of the wedding and to be able to replay the video for years on end is amazing. I think our money was well spent on utilizing Studio N Photography, simply because they were able to capture moments that we can never relive.
Some other vendors that we were happy we choose are Studio N to do our photography and our make-up, and I Do Wedding Flowers. I was so happy with both because they both really understood what I really wanted. I Do Wedding Flowers was able to get me the flowers that I really wanted and they turned out beautiful. Studio N could capture all the important images for our special day and I had them also do my makeup!
The couple discovered Memory Lane Video by attending the Bridal Show at Cashman Center. Previously the couple attended several shows and had stopped by Memory Lane’s booth to watch the creative videos.
