JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa – Nadine + Drew – Las Vegas Wedding Videographers

I proposed to Nadine by taking her to her favorite French restaurant Mon Ami Gabi. She told me that if I had taken her somewhere else even nicer, she would have known what was going on that evening. But I took her to a place she loves like we had many times before so she didn’t suspect anything.

She had already chosen the ring so she knew I had it. I wanted to ask her and “put a ring on it” as soon as I could. I was nervous knowing I was going to do this the whole time. So after dinner, I took her hand and told her that her ring finger looked lonely. And then I said, “Maybe I should put something on it so it wouldn’t be lonely anymore.” I took out the ring and simply asked her if she would marry me.

She had a stunned look on her face. I did have to wait for her to say “yes” and then I put it on her finger. She sat there a bit dazed and happy for a bit and that’s how we got engaged. We toasted and walked out an engaged couple.

We chose our wedding date because we met for the first time on December 16th so we wanted to get married on the 16th. But the 16th of June, 2017 was a Friday so we opted for the next day, Saturday, June 17th. The officiate at the wedding then pointed out during the ceremony that now we have TWO anniversaries to celebrate back to back each year and that was special.

We chose the JW Marriott to get married because the surroundings there are beautiful with lots of water, palm trees and shade. Also, the bride works for the Marriott and we got discounts on the whole package. She works for the Marriott and so we knew the high level of service we would receive.

We think that the photo booth, in addition to everything else, was money well spent. I will admit that I didn’t think anyone would take advantage of the photo booth and that it was money we could spend somewhere else. But, I was wrong. I think literally everyone at the wedding had fun with the photo booth and the costumes and some even went back through several times!

One of the other vendors we were really happy with was Nadine’s hair dresser whom I trusted because I didn’t get a chance to do a trial but loved the outcome. “Makeup in the 702” made our bridal party look amazing. My day of Coordinator from JW Marriott who ensured the reception venue looked beautiful with the decorations we had to work with and I didn’t get a chance to see what had been done prior to entering to the ceremony; I didn’t see what had been done until we entered the room at reception time. And, most importantly, we were happy we chose the JW Marriott as our venue—the grounds are impeccable!

We heard about Memory Lane Video at a bridal event at the JW Marriott.

We chose Memory Lane Video because we admired the quality of the video in how it was shot, edited and produced. It looked almost like a reality television show and was very high quality.

What we admired most about Memory Lane Video on the day of the event was the fact that they had three cameras going to capture everything. They were polite and knew exactly what they needed everyone to do, especially before the ceremony. During the ceremony, they caught everything but were never in the way. They shot everything in a very unobtrusive way and went generally unnoticed while they capture everything.

We never looked at other companies apart from Memory Lane. We saw the demo videos and after our visit with them, we didn’t know of anyone else creating these videos they way they did. They were an easy choice.

Video is more important than just photos when it comes to documenting your special day because video lets you really reconnect with the event and people who were there. You get to relive the day over and over again emotionally on a level beyond what photos can provide alone.

We recommend booking Memory Lane Video’s services because they were on time, did what they say they would do and captured our day in a way that was never intrusive and they were always professional. The end result is something you’ll have forever and the quality of the video is far and away from anything I’ve ever seen before. There’s a huge wow factor that you can’t get just anywhere.
