Our proposal was definitely one of a kind. We decided to meet up with everyone and take a stroll towards the Inner Harbor.  One of our friends happened to be carrying a bouquet in which Mandy proceeded to throw at a few of us girls that were present. After catching it, we continued to walk until Michael, Steven’s best friend and also best man at our wedding suggested that we should take a picture overlooking the harbor, which was unlike Steven to want to take pictures.  As he pulled me aside, he got down on one knee and said, “I had a whole speech planned out but, since you caught the bouquet, will you marry me?” Before I could say anything, I was ramming my finger into the ring. Finally, I say, “YES!”

The key factors in choosing our wedding reception were the location and proximity to the St. Joseph Husband of Mary Church where we were getting married and the accommodations available for our wedding party and guests. We met with Lydia from the Red Rock Hotel in which we looked at the Crimson Lounge and once we saw the Crimson venue, we were sold. The tunnel entrance was one of the things I fell in love with in the space.  It seems to give you this feeling of mystery and wonder as you walk through it and then are greeted with a big center bar with a high ceiling filled with lights and sounds to captivate you as well. We loved that it had that Vegas nightclub feel with the unique lounge areas accompanied with a private pool and cabanas outside.

Weddings can definitely be pricey, but overall, money can always be replaced and moments cannot. Having been a planner myself, my goal along with my mom was to find ways to bring unique aspects to our wedding.  One of the things I think was money well spent was our photo booth.  I had seen online that the Vanity Mirror Photo Booth was one of the unique and fun filled ways to liven up your celebration.  With its touch screen mirror technology, guests can see how they look while also write any messages on the photo before it prints out. For Steven, hands down, the best aspect of our wedding was the Saxophonist we hired, Mat. Steven couldn’t stop raving about the Saxophonist and our guests were amazed when he played the cocktail hour as well as the first hour in the Crimson Lounge on top of the center bar.

We were especially excited to work with M Place Productions as our photographer for our wedding. Matt was familiar with the locations of our ceremony and reception which made choosing him that much easier.  On our wedding day, Matt really paid attention to what photos we wanted and really worked efficiently and effectively. We couldn’t be happier with Matt and his company. Ranaa from Jovani Linens was also a great vendor to have by our side on our special day. She made sure to decorate our space and bring it to life!

After seeing the save the date video of the couple that jumped off the cliff in their wedding attire, we knew, without saying, that Memory Lane would be our videographers.  Actually, in the whole planning process for the wedding, the first thing we agreed upon was hiring Memory Lane to be a part of our special day. We just loved the fun and unique feel that Memory Lane has to bring to the table. I admired the professionalism that Memory Lane portrayed on the day of our wedding.  The videographers carried themselves gracefully amidst the chaos happening.  Since we had such a huge wedding party of almost 20 people, the suite we had gotten was packed with women getting hair and makeup done.  The crew was able to allow events to flow naturally.  It didn’t feel like we were constantly getting pulled away from our event.

We would recommend Memory Lane as the best videographers for your special day because they understand how important every detail of your day is.  They take a beautiful celebration and make it even more beautiful.  From your wedding rings to your overall venue, they capture more than just a picture, but rather, a memory that we can hold on to an relive each time we press play.
