“We met at Yard House in San Diego. We had a wonderful dinner in Houston, TX for our first date. We did not know it at the time, but it was the beginning of our jointed lives together” said the couple.
The most memorable thing the couple can remember from their wedding was the family uniting part of the ceremony. “Having our guest Zachariah being part of the ceremony and seeing his excitement was so touching and emotional to us,” shared the proud parents.
Myra and Rafael’s top three favorite details from the wedding were 1) their wedding colors, 2) the aerial cinematography shots exclusive to Memory Lane Video, incorporated in the same day edit shard the day of the wedding, and 3) our ‘ unique just married umbrella”.
The couple advise is: “Trust the people you employ to do in their area of expertise. We were so lucky to have such an incredible team.” Myra and Rafael also shared, “work together as a couple and divide tasks so that both people feel equally involved in the wedding planning process. Additionally, choose an extraordinary venue location and take in consideration their suggestions on quality vendors/companies to collaborate with in their vision!”
What influenced the couple into choosing their venue were “The drive leading up to the venue, taking in the incredible views of the Red Rock mountains and then being able to have a unobstructive views of the distant Vegas strip. That scenery is unparalleled to no other!”
“We were extremely pleased with everyone that helped us with our wonderful wedding. From the DJ, photographer, makeup artist and florist, we were throughly impressed by all the professionals.” said the couple.
“Videography and our venue were the two most important decisions we made. We nailed those on both fronts. We wouldn’t stress over cake looking back. It was such a small part of the overall day.” confessed the couple.

“We are headed to Southern California to visit Myra’s old home location. We enjoyed many beautiful moments in this area during our early stages of our relationship and we want to relive those moments at our old favorite stomping grounds.” concluded the couple.
