Darius proposed to me after a beautiful dinner in front of both of our closest friends. It was the night before Halloween, October 30, 2015. He had already gotten the blessing of my mother, which was extremely important to me. When Darius felt it was his moment he walked over to my side of the dinner table and asked me “What are you doing for the rest of your life?” Me being completely blindsided answered with a confused “what do you mean? Why are you asking me that right now?” As he was trying to get the answer he wanted a friend of both of ours walked to our table, Jesse Seymour. Jesse spoke to both of us as he usually does and proceeded to serenade me with the song Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. Still confused I started to see all our friends walk over to our table with cameras and lights. With Jesse singing and our friends all in place to catch everything, Darius proceeded to get on one knee. I, of course, said YES!!

Wedding are crazy expensive! Especially where we live, Bermuda! By us choosing Wedgewood we saved a ton of money in every area of wedding planning. We didn’t have to break the bank and it was important for us to thank our guests for traveling so far to share our special day with us the best we could.

We were extremely happy with every single vendor we selected for our wedding. Everyone was extremely professional from start to finish. If we had to pick one it would probably be the Wedgewood Wedding and Banquet Center. We were thousands of miles away but it never felt that way. On the actual wedding day, we didn’t have to worry about anything they made sure everything went how it was supposed to.

We ended up booking with Memory Lane after a telephone conversation. I believe I spoke to Ricky and he was so friendly and informative. The options and prices that Memory Lane offered fit into our budget and the needs and wants we had for our wedding video. On our wedding day, Memory Lane was extremely professional. The punctuality and organization were second to none and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

The wedding video is a MUST for your wedding day. Video catches all of the things you might miss or don’t get a chance to see on your special day. Video gives you a chance to relive that day over and over again for the rest of your lives. You also get the chance to see what your partner does and says during the time before your “I Dos” that you otherwise may never have had the chance to see or hear. Lastly, you get to show off your special day to all those family and friends who may not have had the chance to make it to your big day.
