“Paul proposed to me on the evening of December 11, 2016.  We went engagement ring shopping earlier in the day and I pick three rings that I loved.  However, when trying on one of the three rings I got very emotional thinking about how real this was.  The cut of the diamond, teardrop, also reminded me of a very special ring I received from my late grandmother.  So, I knew which ring he was picking. The next morning at about 12:30 am, Paul got down on a knee in our dining room while we were talking and playing cards at the table and asked me to marry him.  It was overwhelming, even though I knew it was coming soon. it was an amazing experience, nevertheless.”

There are many venues to choose from in Las Vegas, so we asked the couple why they picked the one that they did. They answered with, “I had first visited the JW Marriott about 11 years ago and fell in love with the property.  I decided if I were to ever get married in Las Vegas, that is where it would be.  Once Paul and I knew there was no chance of having a destination wedding I brought him to the JW Marriott and he fell in love with it also.”

Weddings have the potential to be extremely expensive so we asked the couple what they each thought was money well spent. They said, Lisa – “I think money was well spent with the huge lounge area set up and Paul felt we had already spent enough money.  I insisted on getting a lounge setup that was mistakenly placed at the edge of the dancefloor, but it turned out to be the most talked about seating area of the wedding.”

Paul – “I definitely think that money was well spent on the videography and having a drone to take video and pictures. The video memorializes that once in a lifetime day forever.”

We asked the couple how they heard about Memory Lane Video and what ultimately ended up making them choose us to film their special day. They replied, “We asked Tammie at the JW Marriott for some recommendations.  When I went through the list and started vetting the list and getting estimates, Memory Lane immediately stood out as the videographer that set the bar.  None of the other videographers stood out that you get what you pay for.  When we met for our consultation, while watching some other couple’s video trailer, both Paul and I started getting emotional.  We both had no doubt we wanted Memory Lane to shoot our video.  We were so impressed with everything we saw and spoke about.”

Some couples might be on the fence when deciding to book a videographer, so we asked the couple to give some advice to these couples, Everyone told me that the wedding day is going to go by so fast, so try to enjoy it.  It is true, by the end of the night; I just had bits and pieces of memories from that day. I barely got to try the food, mingle with all the guests and take it all in.  Having your special day on video, not only allows you to view it as a spectator, but it reminds you of all that went into making that day so magical, all the guests that shared that special day with you and seeing everyone having a wonderful time, which can be shared so people that may not have been able to make it to the wedding or people that come into your life after your wedding, can share in our special day.”

“Memory Lane video is the closest anyone will come to having a Hollywood production team film your event.  Their videos are like watching a reality show on TLC.  Watching the trailers and clips of their videos gets you so drawn into the couple that you want to know more about them and how it all worked out.  I want my video to be the beginning of the greatest story of my life and Memory Lane will provide that.”
