“The proposal took place at the top of Angel’s Landing at Mt. Zion. We had to hike up the highest point of the national park, which was a great place to propose due to the amazing view overlooking the whole park. I didn’t see it coming and was surprised when he got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. I was so nervous that I didn’t know which hand to put the ring on!”
Since there are so many venues to choose from in Las Vegas, we asked the couple why they chose the one that they did. They said, “The factors that led us to choose Dragonridge Country Club was initially the word of mouth of how good the venue is. We also like the fact that it had a nice view of the strip, a big dance floor, and a good reputation for delicious food and superb service. After doing a tour and meeting up with the coordinators we decided on booking this venue for our big day. Our coordinator Beth was awesome! She was also very helpful and made sure that our expectations were met.”
During the planning process, decisions have to be made regarding what a couple wants to spend money on and what is more important and worth the money, we asked the couple what they believed was money well spent. They answered,“For me (bride), money was well spent on my dress. Although I went a bit over the budget, including the alterations, the dress was perfect and received nothing but compliments from everyone throughout the night. It felt like the dress was made for me.
As for the groom, money well spent was with the videographer, we just knew from the very beginning that we wanted our special day to be captured beautifully by Memory Lane and they did just that!
The couple was asked to choose their ultimate favorite vendor from their special day, they said, “We were happy with all the vendors that covered our wedding, particularly LED Unplugged who provided the uplighting and the marquee letters. The uplighting really made the room pop and the letters looked great as the backdrop overlooking the pool. Knights DJ had everyone on the dance floor partying all night and the fog machine effects really made our first dance even more special!”
We asked the couple what they thoroughly enjoyed about the company on the day of their wedding and they answered with, “On the day of the event, what we admired most about Memory Lane Video was their efficiency and professionalism. We operated on a tight schedule and they met our expectations and then some! They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and made sure that everything was captured beautifully.”
Other couples may not even consider hiring videographers for their wedding so we asked this couple to provide some advice for other. They said, “Video is important because the video captures what photography can’t. As a bride and groom, it is difficult to take in all the events unfolding during the wedding. The videographers are there to capture all the touching and memorable moments of the day. We think future brides/grooms should book Memory Lane Video’s services because there is no other company that provides the level of expertise, professionalism, and vision that we wanted for our video other than these guys.
